Very disappointing.

Location

When we arrived after 3 pm the apartment had not been cleaned. There were dirty bath towels hanging in the bathroom. Also what looked like dog hair over the bathroom floor. Dirty dishes were left in the kitchen sink. I contacted the host who sent the cleaner. When she arrived she would not come into the apartment unless we left. The host basically told us to leave and get a coffee so she could clean. In the description on booking.com it describes it as a 2 bedroom with living room house. We could not find the living room. The beds were very uncomfortable, the mattresses were very thin and had no support. They were more like camp cots than beds. They were also very low to the floor.

Clean, friendly, perfect location!

Serena the manager was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had one small issue with the shower but she took care of it immediately! The location was perfect and the lovely bakery/coffee shop across the street was a great addition to wake up to :)

Location is very good.

First of all the flat was not very clean. Floors were not clean, our white socks were black after walking in them in the flat. Curtains were also dirty. Mattresses on beds were veryyyy soft. After we made the booking we were informed that baby cot is 10euros per day.

Apartment is very clean and have everything that you need even a baby cot, a lot off clean towels and sheets. Location is so great and whatsapp communication helps a lot. High recommended 💫

Nice little apartment in a great location!

Nice little apartment, stayed with my spouse and two kids. Host was very helpful, she met us at the garage and helped get to the apartment. It was a nice location, relatively quiet, easy to walk around town or to the train station. Nice to have a washer and dryer!

Superb

Very nice, quite and comfortable apartment, with all necessary equipment. It is second floor without elevator but for me that was not a problem Very good location, near to the port, restaurants and bars. Owner is very helpful and kind. If I will visit Triest in future II will stay here once again.

Dont miss Trieste from this great apartment location

I loved the location. Super central to all major spots in Trieste. Walking distance to main attractions and nearby many coffee stores.

If you expect to have a couzy Living room there is not... Super nice kitchen and Dining room but no living room. For us was super OK though.

Lovely peaceful welcoming city

Great central location , easy to walk to all the important places and with the sea visible at the far end of the street. Bakers opposite the flat, and supermarket at the corner. 15 mins walk to the railway station or an easy bus ride. Owner available via phone or WhatsApp to answer any queries. Very nicely appointed two room apartment with separate well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Air con and also good double glazing. Lovely inexpensive city to visit.

an apartment in a good location but much less than expected compared to price

the location

the humidity smell in the apartment. the garage spot was not included in the price even though it’s mentioned in the description and it’s not for big cars. there was no shampoo which was discovered in the middle of the shower and the reply from the hostess when she was notified was that she was sleeping

Excellent location, clean and cozy apartment which needs better beds with mattresses

Excellent location in the center of Trieste within walking distance to the main sights and seafront.

Apartment was situated in the older town house with no elevator and steep staircase. If you have a car, parking is available in a garage house about 200m away for a 12€/day fee. Streets around are pretty noisy in the evenings and nights so perhaps not the best choice for a pair with little child (like us). Cleanliness, furnishings etc. of the apartment were alright but the major drawback was really uncomfortable mattresses and beds making awful cracking noises.

Closed to the old town, contactless check-in and check-out. Parking place is 1 min by walk from the apartment. The owner provided all the neccessary info by messages before arriving.

Immaculately clean and welcoming

We loved how immaculately clean the whole apartment was and it's proximity to so many sights within walking distance. You can't beat the location. We also loved how respondent Serena and her husband were to our questions. It was also wonderful to have a private parking garage so close because there is literally no parking nearby for vehicles. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we enjoyed our stay.

Overall our experience was wonderful. There was just a couple quirks that were quickly resolved with the help of Serena and her husband (the power tripped while running the AC's + washing machine at the same time and we needed help connecting to Wi-Fi). But, they were not issues because of the quick response time. There are however, tiny stairs (over 40) leading up to the apartment which was a bit difficult with little ones and luggage, but we adjusted. The cleanliness and kindness of the owners more than made up for any small inconveniences.
