FLOREST Guest House

There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the building because it is quite old and there is no elevator. However, the owner carried my suitcase up the stairs for me when I checked in and when I checked out.

Our stay at Florest was perfect! Daniele welcomed us and was super attentive from the moment we arrived. He greeted us at the door very kindly and took the time to explain everything in detail. He also gave us great tips on where to have breakfast and eat around the area, which was really helpful. The location is amazing — you can walk everywhere and reach all the main attractions in the city center easily. At the same time, the nights were really quiet, so we slept really well. We were there during some very hot days (around 36°C), and the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which made a huge difference. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shared kitchen and common area were modern and nice to use. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

It was close to the train station as well as tourist sites. It also had some nice restaurants close to it. Danielle helped us carry some luggage up many flights of stairs. Daniele provided us good information about tourist sites and showed us a map.

The towels were a little dirty. The room and bathroom were small. We were right next to the lobby area, which could be noisy at times. The room was very hot at one point and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work to its stated temperature. There were the most mosquitoes I’ve ever seen in the stairways to get up to the room/lobby.
