Don Felipe Boutique Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Don Felipe. The staff are so kind and helpful, they arranged a scooter for us to collect from the port and helped with taxis, recommendations etc. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the castle and ocean from the pool/ bar area. The beach clubs across the road were excellent too. Highly reccommend!

So many things! - the deal they had with the local government exceptionally beautiful beach club - glorious balcony and somewhere to hang your bathers and towel to dry outside! - the staff - exceptional - the pool and view from the pool - could almost be an infinity pool! - the fantastic bedroom air conditioning! - the thermal waters that come up in the sea in the beach in front of them!! - the island bus literally outside the door!

- the tours offered - wish they would team up with a couple of the tour operators to offer great value tours that are on offer in Ischia - a delivery service for the day / night their kitchen is closed. But having said that, another restaurant was around the corner.

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the hotel was. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and everything was spotless and very well maintained. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff was kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stunning views, nice swimming pool, great to have a drink on the terrace in the evening and watch the night sky. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

The location wasn't great for us - we waited 35 min for a bus to get there, just 1 bus passes the hotel every hour and it was too far to walk in the hot sun. The only other option is pay 20 euro for a taxi every time :( They charge 1.50 for water (no place to fill up your water bottle), and there is no shop nearby to get normal-priced water. They also wanted to charge us to leave our bags for a few hours on check out (what hotel does that!? we refused!). Our room had a second bed which had no top sheet, and we got many mosquito bites there. The wardrobe/drawers smelled like they hadn't been used in months. The A/C unit didn't work very well (only seemed to have an on/off switch and we needed a member of staff to turn it on)... the breakfast was 12 euro and the only thing that was edible was the croissants and yogurt. Just too many inconveniences for us!
