Hermitage Resort & Thermal Spa

Fantastic thermal / spa facilities . Beautiful gardens and unusual thermal experiences such as the walking foot spa and thermal seats, as well as 2 pools . All available at no extra charge. One hour indoor thermal suite offer each day also worked for us . This included turkish bath, sauna, indoor pool and relaxation area. Note you do need to have your own plastic sandals for this . They supply bathing caps which are only 3 euros and as they made of cloth are much cooler than rubber ones. Breakfast is ok. Not 4* but plenty of choice / hot and cold . We didnt eat evening meals here as lots of choice 10 -15 minutes walk away. Rooms are freshly decorated and bright. Large balconies. No tea, coffee or drinking water available in the room, that would be my only critisism. but overall a great place to stay.

This is a tough one, I really wanted to love this hotel. But Being asked to wear a swimming cap to use the pools, and paying $3 euro for it. not being notified about a wedding held at the resort on the Saturday. I love a wedding celebration but the disturbance really impacted enjoying this property and our stay. This wedding took up half of the outside facilities all day and the music was blaring, it was SO loud it was like a music festival, the walls were vibrating and it went on until about 10:30pm at night which impacted your sleep and kept my child up. Knowing this, they still chose to put our hotel room right over the wedding. No compensation or notified when checking in. If I had of known I would’ve booked somewhere else. The inconsistent communication of staff needs to be clearer, we got told by one of them that breakfast was 7am, after I had to go back and request, turns out it was actually 730am. The beds have wear and tear in mattress so it slumped in some areas, so not comfortable. The room didn’t have basic facilities like a kettle to make a morning coffee and although I asked about hot water, I was told to call, my husband went down in the morning to reception and asked for hot water and was told it “wasn’t possible” breakfast was confusing, we turned up and just sat anywhere and noticed reserved signs on the table with people surnames and room numbers but none of that was explained to us, so we just sat as best we could and felt like every morning we were imposing and getting looks from other locals.
