For the price I paid for 3 nights in peak season July I really wasn’t expecting much. I walked in to see a lovely spacious old but not tacky style clean room, and a huge balcony with a direct panoramic view of the sea, the town and of course the castle. As described there was no aircon which got pretty brutal on the first night but then they provided us with a fan and it was fine from then so my advice would be to just ask for one straight away. 5/5 would recommend.

Very thankful to Lucy for all the help. Hotel is sooo wonderful. it's exactly on the beach, looks very cute (vintage), best view from the rooms

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Reasonable value for money. Could use a slight modernisation to include USB chargers in wall sockets and a fridge with free water and tea and coffee making facilities would have given it a higher rating from me.
