Highland Moors

Nice enough place to stay, nothing special but nothing bad.

The staff member who greeted me when I arrived and spoke to me each morning, was very polite and welcoming.

Wednesday, returned to the room to find it in the same condition I left it in the morning except only the bed had been made. Thursday, returned to the room to discover the door leading into the room had not been closed properly I take it, by the staff member who tidied up the room thereby, anybody could have entered the room and stolen all my belongings. No facility to have an evening meal. Told the owner who normally cooks was on holiday so there was no one to cook the evening meals so no evening meals available until she returned on Thursday evening.

Had all the facilities I needed for a good stay, staff all very friendly and helpful, food was good quality and very tasty. Very grateful for the owners allowing me to stay another night after my car broke down.

Nothing major, just one or two little bits of cobweb on a wall in the room.

The staff were really friendly, welcoming and very pleasant.

The only small issue i had was their was no toilet roll in my bathroom that i didnt notice untill i need to use the facilities at 4am. Luckily i had sime tissue in my bag.
