Metropole Hotel and Spa

Great location and lovely staff

Nothing really

Staff very helpful. One of my group left his mobile in the room, it was kindly posted on to us Good location for day trips in Wales One of the better hotels in the area

Spa a bit tired, steam room not working. It is my third visit here so knew what to expect - it does cater for large groups who all decend on the dinning room at once, although there is a separate area for non-group guests.

Beautiful Restful Has parking

Loved the comfortable bed, lovely warm room, swimming pool and the lift was a must being on the top floor.

Everything is very ridged, there's no wiggle room for much, cant sit at certain tables at the bar area to have food after 2pm etc. Price for the stay nearly £200 a night definitely wasnt worth it. For a large hotel with a lot of people staying the breakfast area was very small and people had to queue. We also had problems with one of our party cancelling due to illness at the last min, I know their policy is no refund but a good will gesture of a visit to the spa or similar would of been good. It was also the attitude when speaking to the desk staff about the cancellation. We will not be staying here again.
