Excellent Guesthouse, Great Breakfast

Everything was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous, the hosts were very attentive and the location was perfect. it was a flying visit so we were only there from late evening until the following morning but it was the perfect stopover for our needs.

I thought it was slightly pricey for the time of year but it met all our needs. The shower was fine but it is a snug fit.

An absolute gem in the heart of Wales.

Lynda and Larnie are such kind and welcoming hosts - the guest house is very well styled with lots of personal touches, all of which add to the pleasure of the stay. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was well-cooked and generous, in fact one of the best I've had in a long while. Also the location was ideal being only a few minutes walk from the station. I would easily recommend the Greylands as an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore the area.

There was nothing here that I did not agree with because the entire stay was such a pleasure.

Great place to stay.

In a beautiful building, the accommodation was wonderfully clean and maintained the features of a Victorian home, creating a stylish impression. Furniture, decor and soft furnishings were fresh and of a high standard. Attention to detail was excellent. The owners instantly made me feel very welcomed and their attention to detail and to my preferences was exceptional. Good and interesting communicators. I couldn’t think of anything extra that they could have provided. Great variety of consumables in the room. Previous reviews praised the breakfast so I was expecting it to be very good. It was very, very good. In fact, it couldn’t have been better, in my opinion. Checking out was easy. I certainly hope to return.

It was perfect.

Everything was first rate. The hosts were perfect; they couldn't do enough to help and make our stay wonderful. Breakfasts were top quality. Bed linen was changed during our stay, even though we were there for 4 nights only. There was a superb variety of drinks and biscuits available every day and we didn't need to ask for them. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was extremely efficient; there was a good supply of shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap; a plentiful supply of towels that were cleaned whenever we wanted. Parking was next to the guest house, with additional space to the front in the station carpark or in the street. It was faultless.

Good location. Friendly welcome. Room was quite small but well organised to make best use of the space. View of the surrounding hills from the window was a bonus. Tasty breakfast cooked to order.

A hook on the bathroom door would be helpful.

My Stay was excellent,Breakfast was cooked to perfection, My room was very clean and tidy, I Couldn't ask for more. I asked for a lower bed pillow which was supplied the same day with a slim one,There hospitality was exceptional Couldn't do enough for you to make you feel welcome,My motorcycle was safely parked in there garage,And every morning the garage doors were opened for me, Which was a very helpfull ack of kindness. Would definitely recommend and stay again, Thank you for a lovely four day stay.

Small room but very comfy bed. Hospitable welcoming hostess, nothing was too much trouble. My wife and I needed a room with little notice and we were fitted in wonderfully. Breakfast was a treat, all individually cooked.

Perfect hosts, breakfast and garage parking for motorcycle!

Everything was pretty much perfect. Lynda and Larnie were perfect hosts. Amazing breakfast every morning. Room was compact but good use of space. Good shower and Wi-Fi. Good toiletries and plenty of bottled water provided. Was able to park my motorcycle in their garage which is great. Llandrindod Wells is a nice little town with some good restaurants and bars.

Really nice guest house, right by the station with easy access to all parts of the town. The room was comfortable with great views of the hills. Breakfast was huge and tasty and the owners are super friendly.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my stay at Greylands — it was absolutely perfect. Lynda and Larnie were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The room was spotless, super comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was superb — one of the best I’ve had. Without a doubt, the best guesthouse I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll definitely be returning!
