Large hotel well located just on the edge of the town centre.

Bit noisy- not the hotels fault - had a room facing the street, fair bit of street noise late into the night.

Location was brilliant, staff were really friendly. Room was big and warm.

We had to give the room key back to reception every time we went out, I understand it was for safety but it was abit annoying especially if reception was busy. On both days at least one thing on the breakfast was cold.

The breakfast was very good - but would not stay again

The breakfast was amazing quick and helpful breakfast staff and was impressed with the amount of options available. Location was perfect with car parking nearby at reasonable prices

Room and bathroom very cold - single glazed windows so could hear the noise from street also no only coffee in room so unable to have a morning tea before getting ready. Also trying to enter the property at night was if they did not believe we were staying at the property. Did not feel very welcoming or professional.

Exactly what I wanted - a cheap night’s accommodation

Room was comfortable and staff were friendly

Decided to skip breakfast because the free car park close by started charging at 8am and breakfast didn’t start until 7.30am

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Single room is basic but clean. Heating seemed to be on continuous. Breakfast prompt and very good.

Warm and welcoming at reception on arrival. Nice sized room which was clean, very well decorated and a lovely deep bath. The breakfast host, Holly, was outstanding. I work in hospitality and Holly really impressed me with her lovely attitude, attention to detail, her appearance and her understanding of her customers. This young lady deserves recognition.

The only thing I didn't like was the sausages. They were down right awful, basic disgusting sausages A small suggestionforroom 9. Put the telly on a bracket so we can watch telly from our bed instead of getting neck ache twisting to see it.

Fabulous as ever...we will be back.

Fabulous as ever, we have been using the Crown for many years and have always found it excellent value for money. There has been obvious modernisation of the rooms and upgrading throughout the hotel. All staff helpful, very friendly, special mention to Amy in the bar, lovely friendly, efficient member of staff. The breakfast offer is fantastic value for money which is served to your table, a refreshing change from the using luke warm buffet offer at most hotels. The other thing to mention is the location, you couldn't get more central.

Excellent value for money

Very clean hotel . Beds very comfortable. Pillows ok which is a rare find . Staff very friendly and helpful . Would absolutely recommend this hotel . Breakfast was amazing ( but could do with being a bit hotter ) . Great location in Weymouth centre . Literally a 5 minute walk to the sea front from the front door . If there was a downside then I would say it's slightly dated in decor . But that did not take anything away from our 2 nights
