Great location & great staff; choose the right room though

Room 1 - avoid The room was poorly designed and the bed / mattress needs to be changed. The shower pressure is very low. The shower has been installed poorly design wise. The shower box and shower cord and shower head get stuck on the shower door handle when you try to use the shower. The room also has a fridge that is too small and unlike the other rooms that I have shared in the same hotel previously there is no cutlery or similar. The rooms tv is also far too small. The other rooms I have stayed in previously and the staff have been much better and I would recommend to all. Room 1 is the exception.

A brilliant stay

It’s ideally located for visiting family and friends.

There was t anything to dislike but one morning when the person that runs breakfast was ill, there was no breakfast served so even though I was fine with this I feel a little aggrieved that I’d paid for breakfast but then had to go and buy breakfast. I kind Illnesses can’t be helped but maybe a contingency plan could be thought about

We only had continental breakfast but there was a good choice of cereal, yoghurt and fruit. The room is comfortable and convenient for visiting our daughter.

The water in the shower went cold in the middle of having a shower and didn't become hot again for a couple of minutes. I did report this to the lady serving in the cafe.

Perfect straight forward quiet comfortable accommodation; I will be back next year.

Nice small hotel. Quiet, smallish but well appointed room. Very nice staff, especially the lady in the dining room who is there to make you anything you want. I only had time for continental but it was very good.

Really, everything was fine for me. My needs were quite simple, I was attending an event nearby each day.

Highly recommended.

The room was very spaceous, nice and clean. Also very quiet place, great to have a rest at night.

The airconditioning was weak and the only hot night I spent there, it wasn't powerful enough to cool the room. Since I arrived late at night, it would have been so much better if the staff opened the window so the room wasn't so hot.

Pleasant stay with very welcome air con!

Easy to get to staff were friendly and most of the facilities were good. The air con was unexpected but very welcome!

Hot water in the shower took a long time to get hot and the TV was small and far away so difficult to read the guide. It would have been nice to have access to something other than freeview.

Countryside hotel with charm

Nice hotel near Blenheim Castle in countryside. Old style hotel with nice decor. I loved to have breakfast outside . 2 pubs near. We visited one of them ( George & Dragon) for dinner and had best steak ever.

Our bed was so noisy that my husbend had to sleep on couch. It was so hot night and room cooler was not working. So we slept with open windows. But it was quiet outside, so no problem.

Lovely and comfortable, clean, tidy, great room amenities

Lovely spacious room, clean and well equipped with fridge etc. Excellent parking facilities too and lovely breakfast in the morning with the cafe on site too which was very useful. Excellent footpath through Blenheim grounds all the way to Blenheim Palace also which was a real bonus

Due to the Blenheim Nocturn nights it was a shame we were paying triple the usual rate for the place, understand that's how things go but was quite expensive

A very comfortable stay and friendly staff in the cafe.

The breakfast was fairly good but it would be nice to have more choice of fruit and also gluten free cereal besides cornflakes. The studio is very comfortable. It was easy to get any help we needed ie television remote not working.

There was hardly any kitchen equipment. Last time we stayed there were bowls. As the kitchenette has an oven, hob and microwave we expected more crockery.

Churchill Court.

Our stay at the Churchill Court was exceptional. Very clean, extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, from full English to Continental. Staff we're very welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Blenheim palace, & Woodstock close by. Definitely one to stop at in the future.

A really lovely hotel with lovely people who greeted you warmly and helpfully.

We were greeted by a lovely lady, who showed us to our room, she was supper helpful as they don't serve evening meals she told us about the pub which was just up the road. A really lovely place to stay.

Good base for our travel needs

Our room was clean, spacious with a mini fridge and was well appointed. The bathroom was spotless and the bed comfortable allowing us a good night sleep. We had our little one with us, so provision of a cot was so handy. We would definitely stay here again.
