Not value for money

The location was OK, the aparthotel facilities is big and well maintained in general.

The room was verh updated even though it was labelled as a ‘suite’, the reality is this somebody’s old apartment. The cabinets and furniture smelled like mould and dusty. The feels was like this is a retirement homes rented out to other people.

Room was old, TV very small. Bar service was quite slow. The location was in a residential area and there was no access to the lake front. Risotto rice was hard.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a small cozy place with a helpful and friendly staff. Be aware that it's not a place for loud parties or groups but more for a relaxation and quite time at the pool. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day! There were mostly elderly people, families with small children at the residence. The town itself is very small but clean with some restaurants and grocery shops nearby. The beach is 5 min walk and was very quite and empty most of the times we were there. Dogs are allowed at the beach from 7PM-9AM.

Overall there was nothing major we didn't like. Just a note that rooms and kitchen seem to be very new although bathroom requires some redecoration. I also noticed that not all the terraces had patio furniture. We didn't use ours much though.

Room averall was good but bathroom and toilet were small and cramped and specially showercabin too small for average built man too think should be bigger and also the taps and other things need to replaced as the shower tap gets too hot and if you touch it you burn the skin so definetly shower needs to be upgraded.

Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to beach and the promenade. Pools and sunbeds never too busy. Close to beach. Car park was easy to access and secure. A few great restaurants within waking distance. Great view of the lake.

Room was a bit dated, in need of modernisation. Breakfast was acceptable, but basic.

To bad we did not stay a little bit longer, I would be delighted to spend Sommer vacation in Terazze

Rooms were nice, clean and wormed. Breakfast was well prepared and quit rich with a lot of different foods, and above everything most helpful personal. Hotel itself is positioned in the middle of resident / hotel area, just few min walk from lovely beach on the Garda. And last but not least, I was most impressed by personal, from first contact with lovely receptionist to most helpful director. Thank you for this experience.

Beside small imperfections, we were all happy with the hotel and time spent there.

Certainly not what we expected from a 4* hotel

The staff was friendly, the pool was clean and the breakfast was passable. The bar is also ok.

Oh god where to begin. only to say that the hotel is split into two parts - apartments and the hotel itself and the booking options do not distinguish which part you'll end up in. This is a review for the room in the apartments part - we haven't seen the hotel rooms. - there was a weird odor in our room for the whole stay and there was no way of airing it out (the windows are huge but it always came back) - the rooms are not exactly modern or furnished (or at least maintained) as a 4-star hotel - there was old gum from one of the previous occupants which we noticed on the second day AFTER the housekeeping was there - there was paint coming off the walls and the furniture - since there is no central water heating (the rooms have their own boilers) we've never had warm water (once it was mildly warm but only after letting the water run for at least 10 minutes - not very eco-friendly...)

The staff is LOVELY - very helpful and kind The sweet Gentleman that runs the bar at night makes the best espresso and Mojito - don't miss out on him:) The location is very convenient - especially if you are landing in the Verona airport - very short drive (We landed in Milan, and traffic was super busy) Access to the ferry that will take you through the beautiful towns around the lake, Easy 10 to 15 minutes walk to the lake

There was a bit of an issue with ants in the room (that otherwise was super clean and comfy) we live in the countryside so it doesn't bother us much, but others may have a problem

Everything. From the Helpfull and funny reception to the great bartender in the evening. Great facilities and very close to the beach and ferry That Can easily take you other places like Silmione. A little calm yet lively paradise in the elsewhere crowded Lake Garda. Thank you everyone at La Terazze sul Lago for this weekend.

My room with a view was a true highlight, thank you!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and seemed happy. We enjoyed the pool and everything was very clean. We were allocated a lovely appointed room - we had booked a two bedroom apartment with lake view, and the terrace was really large and made for our outside dining very comfortable. We enjoyed eating out there. The second bedroom had a bunk bed, with a pull out couch underneath, which was a double bed size. Our apartment also had a dishwasher and washing machine, which was helpful. I had read that there was no welcome pack for coffee, tabs or things like that so made sure we arrived with some groceries to start off with - this place is billed more as a residence than a traditional hotel, so coming prepared meant we didn't immediately need to go shopping. Perhaps the hotel could make such welcome packs available at reception, even for a small surcharge, for the unprepared traveller? There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner here (unless you are part of a travel group and then you can get that included as part of your package) but they have a snack bar near the pool which is open for tasty snacks such as pizza, and drinks. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. We also appreciated that the swimming pool only opened at 9am, so no noisy early wake up, as the pools really are at the heart of the property. They closed at 8pm, which seems reasonable. The air conditioning worked and was also very much appreciated in the heat we had at the time. There was plenty of parking, which is allocated per room which seemed a good idea. We did enjoy our stay here very much, and it is really good for families.

The furniture in the apartment itself shows a bit of wear and tear, but it was serviceable. Other than that, everything really was as advertised.

Wir haben hier schöne Tage über Silvester verbracht.

Wir hatten mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar über Silvester 2 Suiten gebucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Empfang war bei der Suche nach geöffneten Restaurants sehr hilfsbereit. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück sehr gut. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Appartamento in uno splendido residence con posizione fantastica

La struttura si trova in una posizione ottima, a due passi dal lago e vicino al centro del paese. Con brevi tragitti in macchina si arriva alle QC terme, a Salò, a Desenzano e a tante altre attrazioni della zona. Alla reception si trova personale disponibile e estremamente cordiale e anche la ragazza che supervisiona la colazione è stata sempre attenta e disponibile. Il nostro cagnolone è stato ben coccolato da tutti. Abbiamo avuto un appartamento con patio, davvero molto bello; la cucina era bella spaziosa e completa di tutto l'indispensabile; c'era un'ampia sala con divano e televisore; la camera era enorme con un letto molto comodo; il bagno appena giusto di dimensioni ma con bellissime ceramiche e una doccia comoda. Dalla sala si accedeva direttamente al patio interno con vista sul giardino comune e sulla bellissima piscina. Dalla portafinestra della cucina ci si affaccia su un'ampia terrazza e da lì si accede scendendo pochi gradini al posto auto riservato. La colazione aveva vari prodotti confezionati, brioches fresche, torte artigianali, frutta, yogurt, salume e formaggi e un anche del salato cucinato caldo; tutto davvero squisito. Con questi servizi e questo rapporto qualità prezzo sicuramente ci torneremo, visto che ogni tanto siamo in zona anche per lavoro.

In inverno l'appartamento fa fatica a scaldarsi. In cucina mancava solo una tovaglia per il tavolo, che noi preferiamo rispetto alle tovagliette in tessuto. Piuttosto meglio le tovagliette in plastica, che sono più pratiche da pulire.
