Great sea views from balcony, cleanliness, kitchenette, safe in bedroom, lift to floor, suitcase trolley, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good shower, peaceful location and private gated car park accessed by card a bonus

Accessibility might be a problem for some as the apartments are up quite an incline from main hotel beach and town centre but it’s possible to drive down to the road below and park up if need be.

You pay a premium for the view, but in reality, you’re just looking at trees

Aside from the view we were expecting, everything was quite nice: the apartment was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the atmosphere was pleasant overall. However, the disappointment from the misleading view outweighed the positives for us.

Unfortunately, the accommodation did not match the photos. We aid extra for the view but were placed on the 1st floor instead of the upper levels, and the view was completely blocked by trees. I would strongly recommend that Les Villas du Spa update their photos to reflect the real view from each room, especially for guests who are paying significantly more specifically for the view.

A room but not with the view we expected

The hotel spa allows guests from the apartments to walk down the hill through the hotel spa grounds steps to gain access to the main street below. And although it's still a steep climb back the staggered steps means it's not as challenging as if using the main road. Hose keeping Card on the door to allow guests to tick a list of things they wanted replacing e.g. Change of towels / bedding / bath products. Free cleaning pack for kitchen Large Bed was comfortable soft pillows Lift to apartment / trolly facility to transport suitcases Secure Parking Spotlessly clean in communal spaces and apartment Recycling bins close by Dog friendly apartments We were able to check in earlier but I was a little underwhelmed by the terrace area / sea view for the price paid for a wk stay.

No storage space for clothes / cases. I don't know how our apartment could comfortably sleep with four guests with luggage. Too much furniture in lounge area we actually pushed the table out the way on to the wall as we kept bumping into it. It proves the balcony couldn't be used for eating out if there is also a table and 4 chairs inside. These apartments are up an extremely long steep hill. Balcony is on the side so it's extremely windy to sit out on there so we actually didn't as the weather wasn't particular good during our stay. Sea view is there but questionable as there are many trees Infront of the apartment building. Sea glimpses would be more accurate description. Having to pay for using hotel facilities such as the pool area/sun loungers. It would be nice to have a complimentary dip in their pool. Doors in the bedroom corridor of the apartment they kept knocking into one another as bunk beds reside in there. Wifi a little slow. Cost of week stay No smart TV Shower over the bath I'm not a fan of Noise from other guests which appeared to only stay one night. Check out 10am Check in 5pm

Exceptional

The hotel is located in the centre of Pleneuf Val Andrè. To get there bus n.2 from Saint Brieuc station, stop Clemenceau. My room was excellent, vieth a big terrace with sea view. Breakfast is very rich and costs 18 euro. The personal at the reception is very kind. Only customer from the hotel have free access to the Spa.If you are in the residence you must book a treatment to enter in the spa. I liked the spa so much.

Superb

We have visited these apartments 3 times now, and will again. It has always been the perfect base to enjoy the town and surrounding area. We find them extremely comfortable, and particularly love the position and views.

Les Villas du Spa are very accommodating. And I stress this is not something anyone could help but, because of strikes at Ouistreham Port we had to stay an extra two nights. Our only gripe was that because we had 5 nights and had to book an extra two, we were charged £78 more for our stay than if we had booked 7 nights in the first place, which was a shame.

Great sea views

Excellent apartment for 2 adults, well fitted out to high spec, secure compound , we asked for a sea view and it was magnificent. Lovely walk to Dahouet àlong the headland

You need to bé aware the walk to the beach is down a very steep path or road, difficult unless fairly fit. We had a two bed roomed apartment but access to the shower room and toilet is through the second bedroom. The sea views will be compromised soon but tree growth unless cut back

Average apartment but no longer "up to scratch" with several particularly annoying problems

Generally OK but staff were unhelpful.

Villas are now quite old and desperately in need of refurbishment. Glass on patio was green and needed cleaning; No English instructions for microwave; no effective extraction in either the toilet or bathroom; bedroom door and toilet door hit together; villa was hot with no a/c; bed quilt was too heavy for the weather conditions; meal in main restaurant was very poor and request to order a sweet at the same time as starter and main was not acceptable - we declined altogether.

Val Andre is well worth a visit.

The location was great. Val Andre is a great spot. Fabulous beach which is just a short walk away. The apartment was spotless. Amazing sea view. We loved it.

The reception was at the hotel and we felt that a reception desk should be made available at the apartment complex. Also while the balcony was lovely we couldn't understand why there wasn't a side screen to give some privacy to each balcony. Ours was very near the neighbouring one.

Lovely location. Very comfortable apartment and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. Very close to sea, restaurants and shops. Lovely long headland walks with outstanding views.

Very practical and beautiful view. Good secured parking. No oven in kitchen. Gutter outside was blocked and over flood the balcony. Bed sheets not warm enough. No small mirror for shaving or make up. Shower not adequate in a tight corner. Cleaning could be better dusty telephone.

Don’t stay here if you do not like stripping beds and cleaning the apartment. At first glance the apartment seems stylish, modern and well equipped. It is not. There is no storage in any of the bedrooms. Just a wardrobe and chest of drawers in the entry hall. The kitchen is so badly designed that if you wash up, the drainer is the electric hob! The extra large doors prevent you opening the toilet door and second bedroom at the same time. The double bed mattress was so old that it sagged and creaked. This really needs to be changed for a firmer mattress. And when you leave you are required to strip the beds and clean the apartment or else they will levy a 75 euro charge.

Le calme, le cadre magnifique en hauteur, la proximité des commerces et plage à pied par le chemin prévu pour.

La plaque de cuisson est trop petite pour mettre deux casseroles ou des poêles à cuire qui d'ailleurs doivent être changées le manche est usé. De prévoir un seau avec une serpillière. Une petite télé dans la chambre.

Schitterende ligging, heel schoon, leuk plaatsje, uitzicht op zee. Behulpzaam personeel bij de receptie van het hotel. Veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving.

Erg gehorig, keuken; weinig keukengerei, koelkast sloot niet goed. Afzuigkap blies de kooklucht het appartement in. Was niet goed aangesloten.

De mooie locatie en het uitzicht. Vriendelijk personeel. Lakens en handdoeken worden na 3 dagen ververst.

Het gelijkvloers appartement is nogal somber binnenin. Geen kleerkast in een kamer. Er waren maar 2 kleine kookpotten voor 4 personen. Er zijn te weinig stopcontacten in de kamers om GSM op te laden.

La situation géographique en proximité du centre ville avec un panorama agréable.

Le tarif reste très élevé même pour ce type de logement avec situation géographique très prisée. Nous avions un logement en rez de jardin au sein du premier bâtiment de la résidence. Le dégagement hors terrasse était restreint.
