Sweet but sour

Great location and overall great property.

We wanted to extend for another night and the owner said it was okay. An hour later she said another person booked the room and we had to leave immediately. Had she just said no we would have had plenty more options in terms of alternative accommodation but instead we had the cleaning ladies knocking on our door every 2 minutes to rush us out.

Cozy hotel near the beach

Since it is located near the beach and Chora, it was easy to get to just about anything in the city. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. We especially like the egg frittata like thing. The waitress was good to remnant coffee orders. The room was very clean and had nice amenities.

The room is small for what I would consider a suite. In America, it would have been a small hotel room.

Fabulous, last minute one night stay.

An unplanned, one night stay as we were "stranded" in Naxos due to strong winds cancelling ferries. But this was a great, last minute choice. Lovely room on the ground floor with a fabulous bathroom. Made very welcome by the staff when we arrived.

The best island room we have stayed in.

One of the best rooms we have stayed in over many trips to the Greek islands. The room was very spacious and bathroom was excellent. Flora and her staff provided a great service and were there to help with beach, restaurant or sightseeing suggestions. Highly recommend the property and will definitely stay there again on future trips.

Amazing hotel and staff!

The hotel was very clean and safe. It is also an ideal location, near the center of the town. You can walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Flora and the staff are very accommodating and welcoming. They were always there to help and make suggestions. The breakfast was amazing and Flora made great recommendations of local events, bus tours, and other activities. Flora suggested the bus tour of Naxos, which was fun and a great way to learn about the island. Call Flora directly if you have questions. She’s extremely friendly and went above and beyond.

Quiet and comfortable

Very quiet and comfortable bedroom. Spacious and with all amenities you'd ask for. It's very close to the beach (ag Giorgios) but also close to the centre of naxos. Staff is very helpful

One of the best places to stay in Naxos

This is one of the better properties I’ve stayed at in all of Greece. The little details in the room like the shower lighting and pressure, a desk, lots of storage space, a great balcony, great breakfast, etc. it has pretty much everything you need and it’s a 4 minute walk to a great beach.

Only downside is it was advertised as high speed internet which is one of the reasons I booked and I had trouble taking video calls from it. The download speed was 20-25 mbps and the upload speed was 1-2 mbps

Clean rooms and very kind staff!

The staff was very kind and attentive to all our needs including reaching out prior to our booking to ensure we had transportation to hotel and then booking transport for us!

Everything was great in our family suite. Very comfortable. Beds could use thicker comforters because we were a little chilly but that’s all we would say could be improved on!

Lovely place. Very well furnished. The hotel has a nice, cosy and warm vibe to it which we really liked. Had everything we needed. Came with breakfast too which was nice. The host was very nice and helpful and her too staff, Romulen and Bernadette were amazing. Really went ouf of their way to explain things to us and made sure our stay was enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Naxos.

staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be.(not local). They were the only reason we enjoyed our stay location was convenient to beach and main square. Breakfast was good

No parking for hotel. No staff available all the time. Lucky to get five minutes with the owner giving us suggestions and recommendations. Made uncomfortable when friends wanted to go to our room to use w/c. Felt owner was pinching pennies on staff and customers. Stayed somewhere else on return to Naxos that was *** better( service, food, amenities) and was almost half the price. We felt we were ripped off

Fantastic stay: spacious room, perfect location and exceptional staff

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room was very nice, spacious, and well-kept. Cozy balcony and very comfortable bed. The location was also excellent—just a short walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to the center of town, so everything was within easy reach. Around the corner, there are plenty of great restaurants. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. They were extremely helpful, kind, and always available to offer assistance, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a real highlight—delicious with plenty of variety and fresh options every morning. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Good location, but small room and sink in the bedroom!

The staff (Bernadette and Rosa) were very kind and helpful. The location is excellent, very quiet road and close to a very good beach, and 10 min walk from the main drag. The shower in the bathroom was very good.

The main issue was the sink was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom! None of the pictures alluded to that fact so it was quite a surprise. The room seemed quite a bit smaller than the ones pictured and for a 6 to 7 day stay, space was very tight for 2 people. The balcony also very small. All the electric plugs in the room would switch off when taking the key out of the holder, including the plug for the fridge, so nothing could be kept cold or you couldn't leave something on charge. A kettle was provided but with no coffee/tea bags. The owner was not the warmest to begin with for the first few days though some guests did seem to get a better welcome than others....

Very upset with management

Management was rude accusatory and despicable in her behaviour towards us. Blaming and threatening to throw us out for things we had no control and didn’t cause. Will be sending a complaint to Booking.com

I honestly cannot fault this stay. It is the most beautiful, best located and friendly hotel I've been to in all of the Greek islands. The location is ideal, 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to town. The rooms have stunning interior design and the staff are always helpful and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was the best I've slept on in Naxos. Don't hesitate to stay here! I've already booked my next visit.

Unforgettable stay at a perfect boutique hotel on a beautiful island with OUTSTANDING beaches!

The hotel was in a SUPER location; 3 minute walk to the beach and a 7 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel is beautiful and clean with beach chic decor. The breakfast is outstanding with fresh ingredients and the best croissants we have had in Europe. The hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and answered all our questions. We were traveling with 2 families and we booked 4 rooms. Everyone was extremely HAPPY with the accommodations and we will rave about the hotel to anyone that has plans to visit Naxos. Even though it’s listed as a 2 star hotel, it actually feels like you’re in a 5 star.

Our stay was good.

the property is very well located, the rooms (executive suite and junior sweet) are really nice, spacey, and clean; the staff (1 lady) and owner were friendly and helpful with tips, and even let us stay until it was time to leave to the airport (6 hours after check out) with no extra cost. the breakfast was okay due to the limited capacity.

The owner was a bit offensive and not very nice at first and said that we do not have a reservation but eventually figured it out and apologised. The lobby/breakfast area was small. It wouldn’t really be considered as a hotel, but more of rooms with a shared space, probably similar to other properties in the area.

It afforded us exactly what we desired, location, meal plan, staff, luxe room

Our Beautiful Hostess Flora met us (as it was our first time to Milos, the streets themselves, until you're familiar) at that moment I knew we made the right hotel choice, Flora escorted us back to the property, familiarized us with the property and its surrounding area. Our room was ideal, we had the top floor unit #6 (highly recommended, if you can get it or any room really, it's a bit larger terrace and you're at the end, so have more views) the room was a great size for 2, the beds were absolutely comfortable, pillows were just as comfortable, it does come with an iron and ironing board (we loved that we had linen that needed ironing) we had a sort of lounging area in the room as well which really just afforded us another sleeping area if you wanted the A/C directly on you, both were very, very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared by Julia (she's a goddess) quite the variety, all freshly made baked good, eggs, cold meats, muffins, fresh fruits, it was all gorgeous, Flora herself makes a WICKED CHERRY/PLUM sauce, I was privileged to taste it on my yogurt, it was Ambrosia, I loved that there were treats (chocolate doughnuts, sliced cakes, when we crawled in at 3:00 AM on the main level. The property itself is secure, located within walking distance to the port, seaport, restaurants beaches, areas of interest are guaranteed all within walking distance from the hotel and just a gorgeous walk late at night. We adored everything about Hotel Villa Flora. Congrats, and God Bless the Grand Child!
