Best hotel on Naxos

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Location & parking, great. Rooms, excellent (spacious, clean, great bathroom). But what makes it exceptional is the STAFF. Family run, so beyond helpful and welcoming, informative about the area and the nicest people you will ever meet. The breakfast is SO GOOD. 100/10. All home made. Do not miss Yiorgos home made marmalades and quince. The quince is to die for.

Great Hotel close to beach with lovely staff and superb breakfast.

As everyone mentioned the breakfast is superb. The rooms are in very good condition. The beach is like 10 meters away. The staff is super friendly and they give great recommondations for car rental and activities.

It really is a great hotel. The reason for just giving 9 stars is that the walls of the rooms are thin and it is kind of noisy in the morning, when other guest are getting up early. And we missed some more storage space for our stuff.

I loved this hotel and will return!

This is a lovely hotel with a superb location if you want to be within a close walk to Chora. The family that owns/manages the hotel will help with every detail. Lovely breakfast. I reserved the rooftop room, which I believe is the best room in the hotel and highly recommended. I had a huge private balcony overlooking the sea. It was private and very safe - I could leave the door open to hear the sea at night (there was a very effective screen door built in). I highly recommend.

Nothing I didn't like. This hotel was perfect for me as I prefer to be in close proximity to town and then visit the nearby beaches - but if you want a direct beach (with their own sunbeds) you may want to choose a different location.

Fabulous Hotel, Great Location.

The Galini was a fabulous place to stay. The location is about as good as it gets with a lovely view of the water and a wonderful small, hidden beach to start or end the day with a swim about a minute away. The room was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. Our room had a ground floor walled patio which was a great spot to sip wine. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of options. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Naxos.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Lovely botique hotel nestled in a wonderful part on town - close to the sea and a little removed from the chaos of the main strip but a quick walk into all the action for restuarants, cafes, shops, and the ferry terminal. Staff (husband & wife owners I believe) were super frendly and helpful. Great value. Free breakfast was nice touch as well and a great way to start the day.

The location, breakfast & room were absolutely beautiful & an incredible deal for the price. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt really safe as a woman traveling alone. The best place to stay in Naxos

We loved our stay at Hotel Galini! I had spent hours finding the right hotel that my daughter would approve of and she instantly fell in love with the online photos and I fell in love with the idea of a homemade Greek breakfast. Galini, George, wife and Anna and chef exceeded our expectations. George, as the VP of Hotels in Naxos Association, especially wants to use all local produce. He shared his love for making lots of different marmalades and how carefully he selected the best local produce with care. Our room looked exactly like the pictures online, as did the rest of the property. It was close to the beach and a row of restaurants and also close enough to walk into town (chora). It was just behind Nassiki Hotel. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Hotel Galini again. We both loved it.

Perfect spot in the central of Chora!

We loved every minute of it! The hosts were so nice and knowledgable about the best places to visit on Naxos as well as the best places to eat everywhere! They made our stay so special in every way possible! The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was all homemade pastries and local produce, exceeding expectations in all forms. Alisa was amazing!!! She cooks everything fresh every morning and makes sure everyone is happy and well taken care off! We will definitely come back here! Also I would like to add it’s a central location, walking distance from the Port and the downtown of Chora! Overall impressed with everything!

The location is fabulous, just steps from the beach and town. The room is simply beautiful, peaceful, and so tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were a dream to sleep on. We were greeted by one of the owners, who offered coffee and drinks while he explained a bit about Naxos to us. He was awesome and very helpful. I loved it and did not want to leave.

Modern & beautiful family owned hotel.

This is a beautiful modern hotel. It is a family business and they take pride in it. Upon check in they sit down with you and go over some highlights of the island and places they recommend. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious; bathroom has plenty of products and breakfast is beyond yummy. There is a selection of homemade jams, spreads etc that you can make an entire meal from; I’m dreaming of them. It is also on the block leading down to the water. St. George’s beach is a minutes walk away.

Great hotel, location and service

The hotel is in a great location. It is close to downtown, while it also has a beach at 100 meters. There are several good restaurants by that beach, without the crazy touristy atmosphere of the port area. The owners are two brothers who are there 24/7 and are always trying to make things work perfectly. They named the hotel after their mother. They are all the time striving to make things good for the guests. Breakfast is great, with lots of very tasty Greek food cooked in the hotel. It is served in a balcony with nice breeze (it is also nice to sit there during the afternoon). During the day you can see the staff cooking, including the wife of the elder brother peeling vegetables one by one. Everything is immaculately clean. The rooms are very good, with a very nice balcony.

Perfect stay

The Galini is such a lovely hotel! It’s perfectly located, spotlessly clean, and the room was super nice and comfortable. I have to mention the breakfast, it was definitely a highlight. So good, I’m going to miss it! The owner and staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. When I return to Naxos, I’ll stay there again without a doubt.

Lovely hotel, everything was exceptional. Amazing breakfast. Great location; there's a nice beach just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and the center of town and the port is also a short walk away. Room and facilities modern and of high quality in both design and function - is a much nicer accommodation than the price would suggest. My favorite hotel of a 3-week trip.

The location was PERFECT, almost on the beach, but close enough for easy walking distance to town or the port.
