Fantastic place to stay- would highly reccomend to anyone!

The owners were delightful, homemade breakfast every morning was phenomenal and varied every day. The beds were so comfortable- definitely the most comfy out of all the places we stayed in. Right next to the beach so a great location. Such a lovely family feel to it and just cannot recommend this place enough! We were so sad to leave!

Charming stay in Naxos

Located very close to the beach, within walking distance of the old town - it’s a charming little hotel with an authentic Greek vibe. The staff could not have been more lovely - all of them so warm and hospitable. They gave us some great recommendations too. Would 100% recommend.

Two of us stayed in a room that is meant for four, and if there were any other people, it would’ve been very cramped. If you are in a smaller room, there may not be enough space to put all of your suitcases.

Amazing! I can’t wait to come back!

Kymata Hotel is where you stay if you want to be treated like family! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and introduced to Anna, Dimitris and Poppy and offered a glass of Kitron, a local spirit. Our room was clean, comfortable with a view of the beach from our balcony. Breakfast is homemade and a great variety. Everything from savory to sweet was delicious. Every time we came back we felt like we were home. The hotel is easy to walk everywhere in Naxos Town but it is the wonderful family and staff that make the stay a truly wonderful experience. 100% recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Naxos is just the best

The staff were so wonderful!! I would go there for a second time if I am in Naxos again without a second thought. The breakfast is just Amazing!! I also needed to extend my stay for 2 more days and the staff gave me 2 different rooms because this is all they could do, but it was nice. The hotel is realtively quiet, not much noise going on, which was extremely useful for a good night's sleep. And it is only a 10-minute walk from the docks; lots of nice places close-by. And also very close-by is the main square where you can find some nice sun hats, souvenirs, etc. And the facilities were great, the rooms were kept clean. Price in general was a very good value for me. Highly recommended!

Where beaches are concerned Agios Georgios (the beach just lirerally 1 minute walk from the hotel) is not the best in Naxos island, because you have to walk on the sand for a bit in order to dive a bit deeper. This is a personal preference (I like to swim in a relatively deep sea from straight away). However this sea, for this reason, is good for parents with their children because you can keep an eye on them. But yeah, if you can rent a car from a trustworthy place, you should definitely drive to Plaka beach, it is just the best!!

A lovely stay close to the beach and Naxos centre.

Popi was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room and bed were very comfortable- good aircon and good shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was very nice. We were welcomed with Turkish delight and a shot of local liqueur and when we left we received a box of sweets ; very generous!

Family hotel where they welcomed you warmly (very greek style). The facilities are very comfortable and good value for money. No elevator though but was not an issue for us. The staff were great and incredibly friendly and at your service, and they help you whenever you need (the receptionist prepared a map with places, offer to booked a table in restaurantes and help with the car rental). The breakfast was very good and very complete, and greek style so we enjoyed it. Is 2 min from centre ville and 15/20 from the port Apollo Temple which was great to be a bit away from the busy nights near downtown. We recommend!

The facilities need a bit of modernization. Nothing huge but while very well maintained are a bit old fashion

Welcoming and cozy - close to everything

I was welcome by the family with Turkish delight and a shot of the local liquor - was really lovely after a long journey. Rooms were homey and had everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious and all home made. Also close to the beach and easy walking distance to the port with my luggage.

Had to ask for a top sheet as not standard but they were happy to oblige. No milk but easily remedied as shop in the street. These are probably cultural differences in expectations so happy to go with it as a lovely Greek family run hotel.

Home away from home.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, the rooms and facilities are exactly as advertised, but what makes it exceptional are the people, felt like I was back in my grandma’s house every time I had the breakfast, and genuinely felt like I was home, the true Greek experience, with smiles everywhere, already planning a come back, totally recommend.

Staying at Kymata was a wonderful experience, one I can recommend to anyone. The hotel an older family owned hotel by a typical modest Greek family, very friendly and helpful. Mama is fantastic and with a smile always helping. At the front desk Popi and Maria were wonderful and very informed. They couldn’t do enough. We sat on the streets in the evenings in front of the hotel and had drinks, breakfast was lovely, welcome drinks were served on our arrival, and Mama gave us a box of nougat when we left, all round the Kymata contributed to our wonderful say in Naxos! Thanks Kymata x

The kindest warmest and most accomodating hotel ever

Our stay here was exceptional. I have never before stayed at a place where the hospitality was so warm and accomodating. The owners and reception staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was comfortable. Every request was attended to promptly and with a smile. We had an issue with the shower head and that same day a plumber came out and replaced the shower head. The place is spotless, immaculate! The breakfast was true home cooked delicious food. The location was one minutes walk to the beach or a 5 minute walk to the port area and old Market street. At night the place was whisper quiet. It was honestly a wonderful place to stay. We were there for 5 nights. A special shout out to Maria who was so knowledgeable, helpful and always smiled. We used all her recommendations.

I had such a wonderful experience during my stay! I felt so welcomed by everyone - Anna, Demetri and their son were so kind and welcoming. Anna made such a wonderful delicious breakfast everyone morning. Maria and Popi who worked at the front desk were so kind and helpful with any questions I had, and suggested some wonderful nearby activities and restaurants. The room was cozy and clean, and a great location that’s walking distance to beach and nearby seaside restaurants. I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Naxos!

Beautiful suite with great views of the ocean and magical sunsets. Our suite included a huge outdoor furniture with couches, banana lounges all for our private use. I cannot recommend this proper enough.

Budget friendly gem

The hotel was centrally located and still away from the masses, so it was perfect for our vacation and we also almost every time had luck with parking. Room cleaning was everyday and thorough. The bed was huge and really comfortable and the room was normally sized. The breakfast was really good, new stuff every day additional to the standard ones and we got to have it on our balcony which was perfect for us! It is a family business and everyone was warm and nice to us and Mrs Anna even gave us a little goodbye present before we left. It’s not a pretentious, hipster hotel but it’s great value for money and we would totally book here again.

Only the shower was pretty small and making it kind of hard to not wet everything around you but since they were cleaning every day, it wasn’t much of an inconvenience.
