A wonderful say at Hotel Palatia.

We loved our stay at Hotel Palatia. You are literally steps from the beach and the some beachside tavernas. We enjoyed the daily breakfast included in our stay. What really makes Hotel Palatia stand out are the wonderful owner Manolis and his long tie team of Katrina and Maria. Just absolutely the best people! This hotel is a great value for what you receive.

We had seen complaints about the small bathrooms but honestly is was fine :).

Perfect welcoming place to stay in Naxos!

Me and my husband absolutely loved our stay here! Everyone that works there is sooo lovely and went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a perfect time. Even at the very end of the season, they were hospitable and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, chef made perfect fried eggs every time. It was so nice and quiet to sleep, and the location was a dream right at the beach and a close walk to lots of great restaurants and the port. Waking up and seeing the ocean was such a dream. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Breakfast was very decent and location was great.Also the stuff was wonderful and very thoughtful and pleasant. Especially Manolis is a great person, a true Greek host. The rooms were very clean too.

The location is amazing, just perfect. The staff are wonderful and the hotel is kept beautifully, so clean and lovely. The breakfasts are delicious too. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great stay

It was spotless clean. Very close to the beach so very convenient to walk for 2 minutes to be on the beach. 7-10 minutes walk to the downtown.

Breakfast is for extra charge, and there are much better options available around with similar price. Coffee can be much better, as only American coffee available and it’s not strong and tasteless. The bed cover is very small it barely covers the bed so while sleeping it definitely doesn’t cover well you while sleeping and putting the A/C on The overall room feels old but it’s spotless clean.

Location, view, cleaness, staff The owner was amazing,very helpfull with everything we needed, and when we left to the airport on the last day, he surprised us and came to bring us 2 shirts my son forgot in the room.

The shower is a little small, and the amenities are a little basic, but it worked for us anyway.....the simplicity of the place and the Greek atmosphere

Beautiful sea facing hotel in Chora

The hotel is literally on the beach. Takes about 10 secs to reach the Agios Georgios beach from where we watched some beautiful sunsets. We were in a sea facing room and hence the stay was all the more pleasant. Extremely courteous and sweet staff. House keeping was done diligently. The location is great - just 10 mins away from both the town square and the port.

2 points that would be a game changer - 1. The bathroom is extremely small. It would be great if extended a little more 2. The WiFi speed was extremely weak

Location, staff courtesy, clean rooms, new towels and bed sheets daily and room facilities TV with Greek and International programs, and fast WiFi.

It was initially challenging to locate this nice hotel with GPS. Perhaps a nearby easily recognizable point such as the Naxos City Hall and Lesser Cyclades would be very helpful.

Naxos Beach Edge

We really liked the location as it was 1 row back from St George beach. Quick access to restaurants, bars and short walk from shops etc. we walked from the ferry too. Breakfast made to order was really nice and delivered to our balcony at what time we wanted was great.

The building unfortunately was very noisy at points. People slamming doors, especially from 6 am onwards. People sitting on the ground floor outside talking and smoking was the worse with the smoke rising to our room. We had to shut our doors and not use our balcony a lot.

Bright, White, Cheerful

Very bright, clean, & cozy rooms, nice view over the seafront from the room as well as from the balcony. Very warm welcome from the owner Manos, who carried our suitcases up to the second floor, there being no elevator. Daily cleaning & towels change, bed linen changed on alternate days, cheerful & helpful staff. Breakfast available. Nice restaurants very nearby, and a couple of cafés where one can leave one's beach bag and enjoy a swim. Beach beds also available. Very good restaurants, Meltemi & Oasis, 120 metres away, both recommended by Manos. 10 minutes walk to the Naxos Town seafront road, where there are plenty of restaurants & cafes, also snacks & pastry shops. Walkable distance to the harbour, even with suitcases.

Very minor niggles... No elevator. Steps slightly difficult for seniors (72 & 79). Shower area rather small.
