Very welcoming

Very nice area of other tourists who also want to get away from the main tourist area while still being connected to beaches! Walkable to the main shopping and restaurant area and the harbor, but everything is also available in the same street as well.

The doors were a little noisy, so you could hear when people entered or left their rooms. But not a huge deal as everyone seemed mindful of it and tried not to make too much noise.

Location great but lousy air conditioning

The staff was excellent, however the air conditioning was extremely noisy and we couldn’t sleep well. We asked twice to please do something about it but our request was ignored by the owner. I want especially to commend Anna the cleaning lady who made our stay special with her help resourcefulness and hard work.

Possibly the best location and value for your visit to Naxos - can't wait to come back.

I cannot recommend this place enough. First of all, everyone of the staff was so helpful and nice. The location is simply the best - right in between the beach and city, but within very, very short walk to both of them. There are numerous delicious restaurants and shops around. If, like us, you're interested in windsurfing, the spot is located around 8min of walk along the beach promenade, but you don't miss living in the city. Our room was equipped with new AC (really helpful), jacuzzi and a nice balcony; that was great too.

If I were to correct anything, I would add some curtains in the shower or something similar; I would rather not splash water all over the bathroom.

Le lit était de très mauvaise qualité, la chambre et la salle de bain étaient sales, moisi dans la salle de bain, fuite importante au niveau du pommeau de douche, douche bouchée, Clim moisie, bruit dans le couloir.

Mein Aufenthalt auf Naxos war definitiv sehr schön und erholsam.

Die Unterkunft lag nah am Strand, man konnte dort schön kilometerweit laufen. Die Strände ringsherum waren alle Sandstrand. Gleich nebenan gab es eine kleine Taverne mit einem sehr guten und leckerem Angebot. Der Service war sehr freundlich und es ergaben sich nette Gespräche. Auch ins Zentrum konnte man bequem zu Fuss gelangen. Entweder am Strand und am Hafen entlang, oder quer durch die kleinen Strassen. Es gab ringsherum ein grosses Angebot an Restaurants, Bäckerein und kleinen Supermärkten. Die Unterkunft Verykokkos war sauber und geräumig, verfügte über einen Balkon, auf dem Flur konnte man sich Bücher in verschiedenen Sprachen ausleihen. Die Reinigungskraft war eine ganz liebe Person, mit der ich sogar ein bisschen Griechisch sprechen konnte. Neben der Pension gibt es auch einen Waschsalon, dort konnte ich aufgrund meiner späten Abreise meinen Koffer zur Aufbewahrung geben , das WC benutzen und mich umziehen.

Schön wäre ein Toaster und definitiv ein Mückenschutzgitter vor der Balkontür. Die Kleidung konnte nur offen hingelegt werden, es gab weder ein Schubfach, noch eine Schranktür. Das ist zwar eine moderne Einrichtung, aber privatsphäre ist dadurch nicht gegeben.

Séjour agréable avec des hôtes réactifs

On a choisi cet hébergement par rapport à sa proximité à pieds de la plage (2 min), du port (20 min avec bagages et enfants), loueurs de voiture et magasins à proximité. La plage est sublime avec toilettes et douches. L’accès rapide au centre ville de Chora est génial ! Pour le logement, on a apprécié la cuisine, la petite terrasse extérieure avec l’étendoir, la salle de bain et la literie. Le personnel était réactif à nos demandes. C’est agréable. Le quartier est calme malgré les animations à proximité.

La cuisine n’était pas assez équipée. Ils ont rajouté en cours de séjour une poêle et une casserole. Il manquait de la vaisselle (fourchettes, plats…). Les équipements peuvent faire un peu cheap (lits simples fragiles, fuite du tuyau de douche…). Il n’y a pas de jacuzzi comme on a pu lire sur un précédent commentaire. Rajouter un tapis en bas des escaliers pour enlever le sable serait apprécié. Et un balais dans la chambre pour retirer le sable qui rentre dans l’appartement.
