Amazing and comfortable stay!

Sofia was wonderful, we got to try something different for breakfast everyday. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the port which we had no problems with, it made it a bit quieter. We felt right at home here!

Lovely beach hotel with great breakfast

The room was very clean and the hotel is only a few steps away from the beach. The host was friendly. Breakfast was tasty, varied and a little bit different every morning. Every morning we got coffee, orange juice, pastries, friend eggs and greek yogurt.

There were some ants in the room.

The location was perfect. Family run business. I am very happy we booked this. The owner was so kind and really helpful! Most guests were return guests. I myself would go back in a heartbeat. The breakfast was great. The property and rooms were immaculate!

WHAT A DEAL FOR THE PRICE!!!!

We had a roomy, airy top floor double wirh a large marble bathroom with plenty of hot water, small balcony, comfy beds, a safe in the room that worked, and a view to the beach. Didn't even need the A/C. The breakfasts were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE -- NOT TO BE MISSED!!! Sofia is baking her goodies fresh every morning. The pastries and pies and quiches were better than the local bakieries! Location is 20 steps to the big, soft sandy beach with 2 supermarkets, car rental firms, and multiple excellent, reasonably-priced restaurants on the 'main drag' just around the corner, as well as literally on the beach. There were so many good places to eat we did not bother with the harbor scene at all. Sofia greeted us and offered us orange juice or water after our walk from the ferry and personally showed us around to include a common kitchen area with utensils and such if you wanted to eat in. There is even the option in the room for call-out delivery service from some of the local eateries. You can easily walk to the Castle, museums, and the shopping area on the port, and we were able to park our rental car directly in front of the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike! Would not consider any other place after staying here!!! Really a perfect experience!!!

Fantastic stay at Ilion Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Ilion. The hosts Sofia and her husband George were so welcoming and friendly. The property was in spotless condition. The rooms were cleaned every day. Fabulous air-conditioning. Breakfast was homemade and freshly prepared daily by Sofia. Lots to choose from. The hotel was in a lovely and quiet area and just steps away from beautiful St. George's beach and a short 10 minute walk to Chora. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property is the perfect family run hotel situated less then 2 min walk from the beach, basically on the beach but not looking in front of the beach which is perfect since Naxos is known for the winds, so the hotel has a perfect position and it is close to the center and port as well as great starting point for exploring the island!

First of all, the owners, especially Sophia who is making the most incredible breakfast! It is like you are staying with your family or closest friend. Their made is the cutest lady and she is doing the great job. Rooms are clean, everything is in great conditions. All rooms have balcony with the great square footage, very comfortable.

Perfect stay with great location, warm hospitality, and comfort.

We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect! The location is excellent easy parking and only a 10-minute walk from the center of Chora. Mrs. Sofia is incredibly kind and always willing to help. She personally prepares the breakfast, and everything is delicious! If something runs out, she will kindly ask if you’d like her to make more just for you. The room was comfortable and always spotless. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Highly recommended!

Perfect beach front stay

Very good position just in front of a wide beach that features both small restaurants / resorts with beach beds and free beach that you can go with your towels. Cozy bedrooms, each with its own balcony and was cleaned daily as soon as we left for the beach. 10 minutes walking from the city center and 15 minutes walking from the ferry terminal. Rooms and common areas were kept tidy and clean all the time. Breakfast was our highlight of the holiday: Sofia (the landlady) was making the best greek sweet and savoury pies, rice puddings and toasts. There's always great variety and she freshly fries eggs all the time during breakfast time. This was by far the most relaxing stay in our 10 days stay between Naxos and Mykonos.

Owner is very warm and accommodating, however limited English. Small family-run hotel that was there long before the trendy places were built just in front on Agios Giorgios beach. All the mod conveniences--mini-split, nice but small bathroom. Just a good feeling here and a side view of the sea from our little balcony.

Wonderful place - Amazing host

Everything about this hotel is amazing, especially Sophia! We showed up earlier than check in and were taken to our room immediately. The room was clean and had everything you need for your stay, kettle, fridge and most importantly AC as it was very warm while we were there (June). The room also had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Each morning for the included breakfast, there was an assortment of foods from fresh made eggs, ham, cheese, breads, yogurt and a wide variety of home made foods. We would often see Sophia in the kitchen preparing the night before. We have stayed in many hotels where the breakfast was included but this was the best we have ever had. The location is maybe a minute walk to a fantastic beach. Many restaurants/bars located a short walk away and approximately a 10 minute walk to Naxos Town. Thank you Sophia for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Quiet hotel in good location

Hotel is in a quiet corner near to the beach and within walking distance to the port. Sofia the manager is very friendly and serves us fried eggs every morning. The breakfast spread is good and sufficient. Room is clean and comfortable. Perhaps an area to look into is a small kettle in the room so we can make hot tea in the room. Overall a positive experience and we'll certainly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Naxos in the future.

An extremely pleasant small hotel kept exceptionally clean and tidy, very welcoming near the beach.

The hotel is kept exceptionally clean and tidy and well-decorated, and our bathrooms were very recently refurbished and of excellent quality. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quite large. The breakfasts provided were exceptionally good (with excellent, home-made traditional Greek breakfast offerings) and the owners exceptionally friendly, cheerful and discreet. We were more impressed with the hotel than we expected to be, it was very good value for money.

The breakfast room could get rather crowded, with too few tables at peak times (we had to wait to get a table on two mornings) and only one serving (display) table for the food and drinks.

Great hotel, very enjoyable stay!

This is a great family-run small hotel. Everything was great, some of the highlights include the nice bathroom, the spotlessly clean room, and the great location literally 10 meters from the beach. Ms. Sophia, the owner, was very helpful with everything we needed and she cooked the most delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, it is great value for money and I would certainly return if I went back to Naxos. A couple of extras which made our stay even more comfortable: beach umbrellas were available for the customers to take to the beach and parking space just outside the hotel was available which is quite convenient if you have a car.

The host is extremely friendly, the breakfasts she cooked were great (wondering why people don't mention it here much), you can even get the eggs cooked especially for you the way you like. The bed is big and comfortable (important for my back), AC working perfectly, the location is great -- beach, cafes, stores -- all close and at the same time it is a quite place. There is a mini-kitchen you can use to cook yourself. It takes 15-20 walk to get from the port -- easy to save on taxi. Highly recommend.

From the moment that we were greeted at the airport by Sofia, we knew that we had made the right choice for our accommodations in Naxos. Kind, loving and ready to make everything perfect, Sofia was there. Ilion is located a stone throw away from the beach and within walking distance of downtown. The facilities are immaculately clean. Sofia will also make sure that the breakfast counter is replenished with freshly cooked eggs and omelettes in the morning as you arrive for breakfast, which was, by the way, included with the price. We felt right at home and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only. Good location as regards to proximity to everything; beach is a few steps away. Room was comfortable and very clean. Owner was very friendly. We enjoyed the generous breakfast that Sofia prepared and kept refilling. We could not understand each other so much but they took care of us and allowed us to keep our luggage in their reception after check out till later in the day.
