Bell Hill Cottage

Well equiped cottage in the small village of Lindale. Warm and cosy on arrival, home from home for us and the dog. Bed was uncomfortable, solved by putting a blanket between the matress and the sheet. Good walks directly from the door however due to heavy rain many flooded paths. Cooked most nights in the cottage, kitchen had everything we needed including crock-pot ! Last minute get away, really happy with our stay at Bell Hill Cottage.

Bed is very firm. I found this uncomfortable.

Lovely location, with amazing views, very easy to get to all the main tourist spots. Flat (it’s not a cottage) is well equipped and comfortable

The property is actually a flat not a cottage, the flat above is being renovated and during our stay we had to endure the builders banging and crashing about upstairs (hammering, circular saws, things being dropped) as it’s an old property the noise is excessive. The parking was taken up by builders vans and trailers so was really difficult to find somewhere safe to park our car on narrow roads. Builders had a bonfire going in the garden of flat being renovated so our flat stank of smoke. Cleaning left a little to be desired as fridge had bits of food left in it from previous guests, obviously concerning in these times. We noted in guest book others had concerns about cleaning. A real shame as we desperately needed the break
