The location and cleanliness of the property is great. We really enjoyed our stay, our intention was just to enjoy some time away without much care or worry, without much aim, and this property certainly allows for it. We brought board games and books. The kitchen table and the summerhouse can accommodate board games for a few people.
If like us, you have not planned much to do with your visit, then there are plenty of materials provided which inspired us to make most of our time there.
There are a fair few dog friendly visitor locations, pubs, cafes, and loads more in the area that if you want to bring a four legged friend it is worth it. The garden is a good size and fairly closed in, they will enjoy a run around with a ball.
I don't know if the bed contributed, but i had a bit of a hard time sleeping. It may have been slightly too soft for my liking, but the weather was really hot, so i wouldn't hold that as much of a valid criticism on its own.

We loved our stay! Our dog settled in well, enjoyed the secure garden and made the most of all the walking options in the local area. The host was exceptional offering ideas for days out and local knowledge. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the local shops which were very close in a car but also made a great morning walk with options for eating and coffee. The house was well equipped, clean and spacious and the view of the bay was perfect. Our experience was so good that we really didn’t want to leave!

A lovely weekend spent in a beautiful home. Excellent communication from the hosts and a warm friendly welcome on arrival, listen to any dinning recommendations made and you won’t go wrong. Dog friendly with a garden perfect for warm evenings relaxing with family. Gorgeous views across the bay to Morecambe and Heysham from the living room sat on the couch with your morning brew before a day of adventures.
