More details about parking on the website as we had two cars. Quite a few steps in the property. It would be helpful to know ahead of time.

An amazing, cosy cottage in what can only be described as a stunning village with amazing views. The garden was very tranquil with lots of hidden areas and so peaceful. The cottage was well equipped, the beds were amazing, great nights sleep was had by us all, didn’t want to leave. The hosts were exceptional, supplied us with local information and recommendations and the gifts left for us was a very thoughtful touch. PERFECTLY PERFECT.

Loved the garden and how quiet the area was. It was a comfortable and well equipped cottage with beautiful surroundings and the beds were extremely comfortable. My son loved the park near by which makes it ideal to stay with children. The Royal Oak pub which was within walking distance was a bonus and the food there was fantastic, we will definitely be returning for a peaceful break in the near future.

The decor, soft furnishings etc. good quality. Nice spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen, with high quality appliances. Lovely big, well kept garden with lots of sitting areas. Lots of light from the windows, yet easy to keep cool during the hot weather we experienced during our stay.

There was a Tassimo coffee machine & no pods. If we had known the type of machine we could have come prepared with pods. The tap water tested strange, I thought like disinfectant but we alerted the owner who promptly contacted the water board & the neighbours who said there was no problem. General cleanliness was fine but there were cobwebs particularly between the bottom of the kitchen units & the floor. Strange considering the cottage was cleaned for our arrival. The entrance area around the door & step was in need of a thorough clean, leave etc everywhere, this gave a poor first impression. Very challenging drive from main road down twisting single track road to cottage & tight parking. We were warned about the tight parking. The owner contacted me to apologise that he had not had time to get a welcome pack which I said was fine. However during the course of text messages regarding the above it became evident that he had provided a welcome pack & even forwarded a photo of it on the dining table. It was nowhere to be seen. This was resolved by communication between the owner& the cleaner. So on our last evening we were asked to look in a lidded blanket box which had a tray & table mats on top of it. We found a bottle of Prosecco, crisps & biscuits. Apparently the cleaner had put them there so that it could be put out for future guests.
