The views from so many windows were an unexpected pleasure. We loved that the cottage had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings and that there was very little traffic. The outdoor seating, even at this time of the year, was a lovely addition and we were frequently greeted by friendly walkers passing by.
We couldn't use the washing machine nor the floor cleaner. Wished we had bought a dvd player with us. Not the "end of the world" and certainly didn't stop us thoroughly loving our stay in this cottage!

The house was in a lovely and quiet location with a fantastic view yet close to the beautiful township of Grange-over-sands. It was immaculately clean and well equipped. Travel from here to other parts of the Lake District was easy so we didn't feel it was too far from key walks that we wanted to do.
Watch your head on some of the beams! Otherwise excellent.
