Me and my travelling party loved it here and we would definitely return and stay again.

Lovely quiet area, very clean, dog friendly, perfect space for what we wanted.

No broom to sweep up with, only a dustpan and brush, which wasn’t great for my back! 😂

Dog friendly, quiet location with parking, loved having a bath, had everything we needed for cooking. Near all the sights

Boiler in the bedroom It was warmer upstairs than down. The open staircase took all the heat upstairs and we thought it was a bit chilly

Very comfortable stay and excellent property

Property was clean, warm and comfortable. It was well furnished with everything we needed and beautifully decorated, and the host had thoughtfully left us teabags, milk and biscuits, which was a nice touch. We were surprised there was no WiFi, although my Vodaphone mobile signal was the strongest it has been anywhere so that didn't matter. We were visiting family so didn't get a chance to explore the local area but it was easy to get to the property and we parked right outside. The area was quiet.

There was nothing we didn't like. The bathroom was downstairs, which might have been an issue had we taken my mother as was our original plan, and I don't believe it said this in the listing.

Wonderful stay

Lovely little cottage, perfect location. It was such a lovely stay for our little family of 3 and also our dog. Opposite cottage is village hall with small patch of grass, so we just went there for the dog when we needed to. In the village is also pub which is lovely, unexpectedly more Thai 🤗 Cottage is perfectly situated close to small town where is everything what needed.. all attractions are about 15-20min away. Everything was so nice,clean and beds incredibly comfortable 💓

Somehow I haven't find single public bin for poo bags in the village Also no signal or Internet- but that's not what we didn't like. It was welcoming change.. Give us opportunity play Dowtown Abbey boardgame which is there and we loved it 🤗

Beautiful cottage in excellent village

Beautiful cottage, in an excellent little village but close to everything you could want. Superb family run village pub, with exceptional food and friendly staff.

No enclosed garden to let dogs out off lead. We did think this may be the case when we saw pictures and booked. Little green opposite so no real trouble just couldn't let them off.

Great gateway spot to the Lake District.

Beautiful cottage which was well equipped, nicely set up and in a great location for access to the Lake District. Lovely pub just a walk up the hill which served a great dinner!

No WiFi at the house, but managed fine with phone signal. Towels included would be nice.

A beautiful cottage with lots of character in an idyllic setting.

The location of the cottage was superb - very quiet and in an idyllic setting but with easy access to the lakes and surrounding area. It was a little hidden gem.

The only down side was there was only a bath and no shower but it’s an old property so it would be hard to fit in a modern shower. It didn’t impact on our stay.

What a beautiful property in a fantastic location

Beautiful property in a lovely location. The owner Andrew answered questions promptly vie email. Thoughtful gift of tea, milk and biscuits left for us was very appreciated after a long journey. Would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing we can fault, however the sofa cushions are a little ‘slidy’ and maybe a little velcro would do the job.

Inglenook Cottage was absolutely wonderful! We loved the decor and lovely features and the cottage has everything you need for a short break. It is in a great location, in a beautiful quaint village but still close enough to Windermere and some wonderful walks.

We had a lovely stay at Inglenook Cottage. Andrew, the host, was so kind and accommodating and communication was fantastic. Cottage is comfortable and quaint. Black out blinds on upstairs rooms are great. Welcome pack is a lovely thoughtful gesture. Cottage is a great base for exploring the local area.

Location - close to South Lakes and main roads The rooms were excellently furnished and the beds comfortable. The kitchen well appointed with all the useful items Cosy cottage

Wi-Fi would have been useful - as mobile reception was sketchy and everything seems to be prebooked online now. A bigger outdoor space to dry clothing would have been useful.

A beautiful cottage situated in the quiet village of Lindale. Perfect for our family holiday. The cottage was well equipped, immaculate and with great facilities. Would highly recommend. We can’t wait to return!

Everything about the property was excellent. Arrangements and welcome were second to none.

This isn’t a “didn’t like” but due to the design of the property it wasn’t possible to have a stand-up shower, although the bath itself was fine.

A fabulous stay in a beautiful cottage.

It’s a beautiful, clean and cosy cottage,and has lovely features it is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The bath is nice and deep with plenty of hot water and good water pressure from the shower head. The beds were very comfortable. The heating also warms the cottage quickly. The cottage is set in a lovely and peaceful village. The parking was directly outside the cottage which gave us easy access to the property. We had such a lovely and peaceful break, I would definitely recommend staying in this cottage. The hosts were fantastic with brilliant communication throughout and before our stay, the hosts had also left us some tea making facilities (tea, milk, sugar and biscuits) which was extremely kind of them and much appreciated.
