Looked after to a very high standard. Restaurant served simply the best meals we had had all holiday - the waiters were awesome too.

Nothing - not a negative at all but maybe tea making facilities (kettle) in the room.

The suite was well furnished and very spacious (3 rooms with a very big bathroom). The breakfast was superb. Actually, the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best that I have experienced. It is not cheap, but there are some dishes with a quite modest price. (Generally, the restaurants in this resort area on the border with France are quite expensive, but they are even more expensive on the French side). The location is on the quiet edge of a small town of Appenweier and Schwarzwald. The forest on a slope of a hill starts in 15 min of walk. This leads to a short hike to Burg Staufenberg (approximately 4 or 5 km one-way) with nice views on the whole area. It seems that this is not only interesting hike in the area, but the only one that we were able to do during our short stay. Appenweier is well connected by train with Strasbourg and the DBahn line Karlsruhe-Basel passing through many small historical towns. We went to Offenburg and liked it. Finally, I would like to say that the owners of the hotel were very kind to us and very helpful when we arrived to Appenweier later than expected and somewhat lost the direction in a dark and rainy winter evening.

Centraal gelegen hotel in rustig omgeving.

Mooi authentiek en gastvrij familie hotel in het noorden van het Zwarte Woud bezocht eind november. Ligging is vlakbij franse grens. Ideaal voor ons doel om kerstmarkt in Strasbourg te bezoeken, dit lag op een half uurtje rijden. Vriendelijk en zorgzaam personeel. Ruime kamers. We waren met 6 personen en hadden 3 verschillende kamers, eentje met zit gedeelte, ideaal om 's avonds nog wat na te borrelen. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet met ruime keuze aan verse produkten, gratis inbegrepen. Mogelijkheid tot avond eten, in het restaurant. Gratis parkeer gelegenheid voor de deur. Er zijn diverse trapjes in en om het hotel, er is geen lift, aandachtspuntje als je slecht ter been bent.

Bedden waren wat door gezakt, zijn aan vervanging toe.

Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir sehr gerne wieder

Wir sind - trotz später Anreise - sehr zuvorkommend begrüßt und zum Zimmer begleitet worden. Alle Angestellten waren jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dank der schallisolierten Fenster war die Nähe zur Kirche mit dem dazu gehörigem Glockengeläut überhaupt nicht störend. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir waren gerne Gast in diesesem Haus.

Bien pero no acorde al precio...

El personal fue muy simpático. Todos los camareros te recibían con una sonrisa.

Las instalaciones (menos la piscina y la casa de la piscina que eran nuevos) eran un poco antiguas. No habia AC y solo habia un pequeño ventilador. Todo estaba un poco desorganizado.

La piscine est les équipements qui la complètent sont top! La literie est bonne également

Il été indiqué que le séjour de notre petite fille de trois ans serait gratuit.. j’ai envoyé un message à l’établissement via booking pour confirmer que nous n’avions pas besoin de ramener de lit pour elle .. résultat : jamais de réponse à mon message et nous avons été facturés pour la petite. Je trouve ça assez décevant car le coût de la nuit est élevé pour un hôtel pas mal défraîchis.

Alles superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Der Pool war richtig schön und die ganze Anlage ein Traum. Entspannung pur. Handtücher gibt es vom Hotel extra für den Pool. Das Essen war klasse und aus der Region. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Mitarbeiter super freundlich.

Een aanrader voor een korte vakantie van een week.

Ontbijt was echt heel goed,alles erop en eraan .Het zwembad is erg welgekomen.De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. En het is een goede uitvalsbasis voor wandel-of fietstochten.En een bezoek aan het nabije Strasbourg is zeker de moeite,met de trein van Appenweier 19 euro HT

De kamers hebben geen airco,in ons geval was er een hittegolf van 35 graden.We hebben de ramen 's nachts moeten open zetten.Sommige avondgerechten vallen mee,anderen vallen tegen,zeker geen fritten pakken.Het zijn van die dunne harde stokjes.Het Gasthaus Krone 200 meter verderop is een goed alternatief,goedkoper en beter.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service ist gut. Hervorzuheben ist besonders der Service beim Frühstück. Zimmer (DZ Nr15) ist zweckmäßig und für 2 absolut ausreichend groß. Hatten sogar einen kleinen Flur. Hinweis: bietet Platz für ein paar Gardarobenhaken an der Wand. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas. Die Küche ist sehr gut. Ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus.
