We had two rooms - one for my friends with their 13 year old, and there room was huge with a loft! Our room was smaller but still quite large. I liked the full kitchen that was stocked well with basics, including the microwave a small freezer. We had free parking, but damn, it was a tight fit :) Also things weren't super old - some places have very old kitchen equipment and this hotel had nice new things. The housekeeper clearly did a good job and things were in pristine condition.
This is nit-picky, but the towels were super soft but like so soft you couldn't dry off with them! It's like they used too much fabric softner. Also the shower leaked in our room because the door seal below was off. It wasn't a deal breaker, but annoying to have to clean up water each time.

It was such a beautiful apartment with everything you needed. Clean, walking distance to the city (in 2 minutes walking you’re in the center). Clear instructions and a very nice host!

We stayed in The Gentleman Suite & loved it
The location was perfect - Gengenbach is a gorgeous town and we used it as a base to explore other areas of The Black Forest from. The Konus card you are given on arrival to get free train & bus travel was fab.
The apartment was clean, the bed was comfy & the shower was great! Would definitely recommend
