Stunning cottage with the most stunning garden and views.

The cottage was clean and spacious and had everything that we needed. Very comfortable beds and sofa too. The cones with jam on arrival were delicious, and thank you for hiding chocolate eggs for our children. That was a beautiful touch, and it is much appreciated. Thank you, Ulli, for being a wonderful host. Hope I spelt your name correctly. Apologies if I didn't. :-) The garden was stunning. Shops were close, and everything was great, and we had the best time ever. Thank you

Incredible

I loved everything about this property. It has everything you’ll need for your stay, fully equipped kitchen if you plan on cooking. There is a small shop in the village of Polyphant but it you’re staying for a time you’d probably want to go to Tesco’s in Launceston. We had relatives near by so didn’t require a car, but if you’re traveling to the Shippon you’d probably want one. The Cornish countryside is exquisite and the views from our room didn’t disappoint.

Little piece of heaven

The cottage was immaculate, well equipped with gorgeous views and a pond complete with carp. A very informative welcome pack was much appreciated. The owner was helpful and friendly. This was an ideal location for exploring all the delights Cornwall has to offer. A cream tea waiting on arrival was a lovely touch. Will definitely visit again

We had a lovely stay at The Shippon. We were greeted by our host on arrival and a beautuful cream tea was awaiting us. Our stay was very comfortable and their gardens were beautiful. We would definetly go back.

Unfortunately the stay wasn’t good for us

When we arrived it had a very strong smell of manure didn’t release that it was close to a farm, so we couldn’t open the windows. Getting there there’s a road only big enough for one car to get to the cottage that was very stressful. We had paid for 14 nights stay but we only stayed for 5 nights something in the cottage was making it hard to breath and coughing fits for my husband for that reason we had to leave the cottage he must had some allergic reaction to something there.Because we only stayed there for 5 nights we ask the owners of the cottage for some refund but they said no refunds, as we had no other choice in leaving so soon because of my husband well being.The owner said if they had told me the problem I would have helped him. Not knowing his a medical person?

The owners may have been a little bit more understanding of our situation

Beautiful cottage in a quiet area, with a big garden for the kids to play around. Very friendly owners. The kids helped feed the koi carps and the ponies. And even spotted a fox in the field. Highly recommended!

The house was really nice and exceeded our expectations. It was really clean and spacious. The location is really great to explore Cornwall and Devon as the distances aren't too long. Would definitely recommend to stay there on your holiday.

Incredible!

The location, quality of the property and care and attention to detail from the owners is exceptional. My partner and I have done a lot of traveling all over the world and we agree that this is the best and most comfortable place we've ever stayed! Huge thanks to the owners who are incredibly polite and caring. The cleanliness was top notch and the house has everything you could ever need!

The only small issue was that something banged the back wall of the house in strong winds (we stayed in Feb), which kept us up some nights. Not sure if it was the neighbour's hanging baskets. Small price to pay though for such an incredible stay!

A Beautiful Cottage

Really lovely property, it felt like a small home, nice and cosy and perfect for couples. Clean and well equipped. Main attractions we’re all about an hour away, and this place was especially close to Bodmin moors if anyone is specifically wanting to go there. There is a Lidl and other shops close by. People were lovely there, we didn’t want to leave!
