A superb holiday location nestled on the edge of the Cornish village of North Petherwin, between Launceston and the Camel Estuary. Set within beautiful countryside on the owner’s 140-acre working sheep farm yet just 10 miles from the North Cornish coast, it is the ideal peaceful retreat. These two barn conversions retain much of their original charm with vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework and are presented to a very good standard. There is even access to the lake with wild garden, cabin and BBQ area (no BBQ).The wild beauty of Bodmin and Dartmoor National Parks are both easily accessible and a must for nature lovers and walkers. The coast boasts sandy beaches and hidden coves ideal for surfing or exploring rock pools. Golf, fishing and riding are all available locally. The historic market town of Launceston is just 7 miles away and the Eden Project is an easy drive. Shops 7 miles, pubs and restaurant 4 miles.

Absolutely lovely cottage in stunning surroundings. A massive thank you to the owners for the lovely welcome treats. The cottage is situated in the middle of no where but fairly central so you can visit a lot of places easily. We had a really wonderful stay and will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful Stable accommodation, with upside down living, bedrooms on the ground, lounge and kitchen upstairs. Everything you could wish for in the kitchen even during Covid limitations.
Only wish the double Mattress had been more comfortable. All bedding towels and dressing gowns provided.
Set amongst beautiful fields of sheep, so be aware no free run for dogs. There is however a lovely lakeside setting at the bottom of the field that is fenced in and makes a lovely place to sit in the evenings. This is a very rural area so expect to travel the lanes to reach other places.

The sat nav takes you a mile from the property, but if you follow the instructions on the web site you go right to the door. Welcomed by the owner, eggs ,milk and wine are provided on arrival. The property is spacious and homely the owner's father in law lives next door and his dog is a treasure.
