This really felt like a home from home. Was great as we got the whole cottage to ourselves which we needed with a busy toddler in tow! It was easy to find and only 30/40 minutes away from the places we wanted to visit. It was also nice and cool which was a blessing in the 30 degree heat! The beds were comfortable, in fact my eldest said it was the best sleep of her life and wanted to keep the mattress haha! There was some tea, sugar, biscuits and milk provided which was a nice welcome after the journey. There are also loads of DVDs to choose from and board games provided.

We didn't realise that the garden wasn't attached to the cottage and was across the road, and when we did find it it was overgrown. Real shame as the garden was a big selling point for us for our children to run round in the evening. It should have been mowed ready for our arrival really. I went to cook and noticed a couple of pans were mouldy. Thank goodness I noticed before I cooked in them! Not sure what was used on the floors to clean them but they were extremely slippery which led to my toddler falling multiple times and also us almost slipping so need to be careful. As said in other reviews the parking space is small. We just about managed to get our car (C3 aircross) in with a lot of manoeuvring. I think the nearest pub was an 8 minute walk?

The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It was the n a very pretty little street in a quiet area, although not far off the main road. The village of Altarnun nearby was absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit. We loved it.
