A very comfortable barn conversion with all the necessities. I very much like stay.

Sat nav postcode was tricky but a good adjacent farmer guided us to the holiday site.

Absolutely freezing!!

The shower was good

The downstairs was absolutely freezing!!! I am aware we stayed in the winter but it was so so cold, there was one tiny basket of logs provided for the log burner and the thermostat was turned up but the whole downstairs was just freezing, when we contacted the owner to ask if there were any more logs we were told we could go and buy them from the spar down the road!! I don't believe it says this in the listing, that we had to provide our own logs to make the house warm enough, I felt that the money we had paid should provide us with a warm place to stay in?! Not have to pay more to make it warm enough?! We sat in the evenings in our coats and duvets off the beds to watch TV, not enjoyable at all! Also my husband found old dog chews under the sofa that we had to move out the way of our 1 year old, disgusting.

Shocking

The size of the cottage was great

It was dirty. We found dog pooh under 1 of the beds. (Disgusting) Was woken up at 8.30 on the Sunday to someone using a jigger pick on the exterior wall. There was scaffolding up with a ladder and no lights. My son walked into the ladder at night due to no lights. Builders working in the cottage joined on everyday with noisy machinery. I think it was shocking. I will be taking this matter further

Very spacious, great sized rooms great kitchen equipment and 2 great sized tables in each room for breakfast and dinner

The Nest system for the heating was temperament which affected hot water but was able to use immersion heater afterwards.
