Tresco - B6520

We stayed in Tresco one of the bungalows, it was lovely and clean, equipped with everything we needed, a quiet peaceful site. Located in the countryside next to woods that we liked to go walking in. Also across the road is Rosecraddoc Manor, set in beautiful grounds, a fishing lake and tennis court that the all people staying on the complex can use. Lovely area to walk around too.

Prior information on paying electric meter wd be advantageous so as ti have relevant coins

Spacious, clean cottage. Lovely little stream just few steps from the patio. Quiet and beautiful location, comfy beds. Pet friendly 🐾🐶♥️

Good points: I absolutely loved the location, there are beautiful views across farm land, and I could sit on the sofa and watch the sheep and baby lambs happily bouncing about. The bungalow itself was basic, but large and spacious, clean and cosy (as in sofa and décor). Bit old fashioned but it was in keeping with a countryside theme. The grounds are lovely and a stream runs at the back. Good price for the 5 night too. Shops nr by and plenty of fab places to visit.

1) I felt my chest feeling funny and a bit laboured, the place did smell a bit off to me, like it had sat for long periods of time empty and hadn't been ventilated or heated to keep it dry. I moved the sofa out last day, there I found black mould all across the bottom of the wall. With the sofa and side tables in the way I hadn't noticed. I'm actually thankful now my baby granddaughter and daughter couldn't make, it otherwise it would have effected them too. 2) You had to put £1 coins in an old electricity metre, I put in £12 over the 5 nights. I didn't realise there would be a coin metre. 3) Instructions on how to collect the keys just mentioned what house to knock on for the keys, I knocked at the house, someone eventually answered. I was just told they keys are in the door and where the bungalow was. The man wasn't horrible, but there was no warm welcome or any further discussions. He seemed keen to just shut the door. 4) On my last day when I just wanted to enjoy the peace, there was a gardener right out by the patio doors making lots of noise and had the radio on loud. He was cutting back a tree, grass and bushes. I am also sure I see him take a pic of my cat who sat at patio (could be wrong). I eventually asked him how long he was going to be as it was my last day. Surely it would have been better to cut everything back when the property was empty? 5) I received a message from the owners asking if I had taken a cat to the property, that their policies were no cats. I told them nowhere on booking.com had it mentioned that on the pet section. Also when I booked there was no section asking about pets like it does on some bookings. I wouldn't have booked their bungalow otherwise. I told them this, and about the mould, not one apology! I left the place clean and tidy, I took pics of how l left it. I was a good guest. 6) Wifi cuts out and you have to pay for it.
