We were surprised by the beauty of the place and by the warm welcome and friendliness of the owner.
Chalet number 3, where we stayed, was well laid out with basic comforts in harmony with the natural surroundings.
The quality of the welcome was only matched by the quality of the cuisine at the estate's restaurant.
The encounters with the animals on the estate, especially the oryx, were a highlight we will remember!
We were pleasantly surprised, and can only recommend a two-night stay at the estate Klein Karoo Game Lodge !

We stayed 3 nights and on arrival we noticed that the rooms were not to our expectations. We were granted to move to other rooms, bigger and with the option to separate beds (travelling with my niece). The rooms had no air conditioning, only floor standing fan but with the thatch roof they stayed cool. The beds are extremely hard.
Parking was directly in front of rooms. We felled safe. The pool was a blessing, we hat 40 Celsius....
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay, breakfast is excellent and also the restaurant is excellent.
Beds are too hard.

Spacious rooms, live animals running around, staff did their best to make us feel comfortable.
Property is unfinished, no safe in the rooms, no wardrobes, not enough space to hang the clothes, 5min walk to the restaurant no lights, have to walk through the dark, need a torch, no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the only place to get Wi-Fi is in restaurant. Lighting in the rooms is very dark, comfortable to be in the room but too dark if you want to read the book.
