The house decor was beautifully done.
The appliances (DWasher) was quite old.
The mosquitoes that came out at night despite doors being closed were plentiful! We stayed up trying to swat them but it was an endless task!

The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated with tasteful furniture, and located in a lovely, quiet corner of a peaceful town. From an aesthetic and location standpoint, it has a lot of potential.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor maintenance and unprofessional management. The cleanliness was subpar; the windowsills were covered in dried-out dead insects, and many surfaces clearly hadn't seen a wet cloth in some time. Additionally, the master bedroom is impossible to darken, so expect to be awake at sunrise.
The most disappointing part was the post-stay communication. After we left, the host messaged us accusing us of stealing two decorative pillows (threatening a R500 charge), only for the cleaner to later find them in the second bedroom where we had moved them. On top of that, the host tried to charge an extra R1000 for a second guest, despite the booking being made for two people from the start. Being hit with false accusations and extra fees after checkout made for a very unpleasant end to our stay.
