The scenery was amazing , especially the rising sun on the red hills !!
1888 house with no damp course, so when it rains, the water seeps through into the bathroom.

Everything about Red Stone Hill is 10 out of 10.
The peace, quietness, the overall experience, the stoep, nature, the views etc. Love everything about the whole experience. Will definitely be back.

Location is beautiful and cottage very comfortable.
The owner changed my booking to one bedroom as I (according to her) only booked for two adults & I don’t need a two bedroom cottage. It took some explaining & more that I was visiting with my colleague and was not planning to sleep in the same bed as her! I did not know that I had to explain myself as to why I am paying for two bedrooms.
Booking.com was blamed for the “mistake”, yet I book very often with Booking.com and have been for many years & have never had a problem.
I was told on the evening (we arrived in the dark) that pigeons were making nest in the flat roof. This was directly above the bedroom and even after trying to block my ears, I had no sleep whatsoever! This was the Ostrich cottage.
