A lovely rustic Karoo stay with a warm and authentic atmosphere. The cottage suited the character of Prince Albert beautifully, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting and charming old-world feel. Conveniently located and overall a very pleasant overnight stop.

It was quirky, well curated and peaceful. It was also easy to locate and very clean
I think it was a little cramped. I would suggest removing the table in the bedroom. Also, the sink, quirky as it is, should probably be plumbed in?

Excellent location, Erika the host was wonderful to deal with and very helpful with suggestions and tips for the area. Nicely decorated with all the amenities we needed - well thought out - very comfortable and private. We had one very rainy afternoon and were happy hanging out indoors on the sofas - plenty of space for two people. Was also interesting to read the owners' story and about the development an renovations of Ta Mall. Well done to Erika and her husband for creating such a lovely, homey environment!
Easy walking distance to Hendry's Bakery, Jeremy's and the Prince Albert Cafe for dinners. We really enjoyed strolling up and down the main street.
We didn't realise that the bedroom/bathroom was a separate entrance from the main living space. On the rainy day, it was a bit slippery to go outside from one room to the other, although it was just a few steps. Not a big deal and we're certainly happy we chose the room called Windpomp but might choose one of the other rooms next time - they all looked interesting and quite private.
