Wolvekraal Guest Farm

A lovely experience staying at Wolvekraal. I liked the positioning of every unit far apart. The farm is beautiful and peaceful.

The gas shower, while it makes sense can be a bit sensitive to adjusting water temperature and does get cooler through your shower. While I don't mind this, it can probelmatic.

Wonderful little cottage in a beautiful Karoo setting. Very quiet and remote, perfect for a getaway from busy city life. We lit a fire and managed to keep warm through the winter night.

The road up to the cottage is a fairly bad gravel road of about 3 kilometers. But this is because the main entrance was damaged by recent floods, so it could well be a temporary problem.

Well maintained, neat, close to town, wel priced, friendly people

As bikers, we absolutely loved the location, quaint cottage, and millions of stars in the sky. We were very late due to unforscene roadworks stop and go. The owner was accommodating with our time changes.

Since we booked in later, our specific unit that I booked was changed and given to another group because they wanted to stay close to one another. I specifically chose a unit due to its layout and sliding door leading to the braai and entertainment area. Then, we were giving a unit whose layout did not provide the same. It was very disappointing 😞 and we then ended up not using the braai facilities. We also did not have hot water, which is always such a basic provision and can influence once mood after a long ride on bikes. But complaining so late at night seemed petty and at that point could not bother
