The location. The owners Albert and Elza. The turn down service with bed heating. The fire wood place. The breakfast room. The breakfast itself was amazing. Etc etc

We really enjoyed the outside deck and breakfast area. The honesty bar is a win.
Breakfast was very good and Elza was fabulous as the hostess, alongside Albert who was very helpful.
I understand the refurb of a very old house while trying to preserve so much of the heritage, but our room was scattered with mirrors to try and disguise the zero view from the only window. Unfortunately, the hum of aircon condenser units was also heard through the night. Difficult to satisfy all the people all the time. With all the above said, we would return but would request another bedroom.
