It is a very convenient place to stay in Cinque Terre, I would definitely come back

The location was excellent, in the middle of the action, in the very center of the village. It was very close both to the harbor and to the hiking trails and the restaurants were all around the place

The place was very narrow, the stairs were quite steep, very difficult with trollers or suitcases. There should be more pictures with the neighborhood to show that there is no parking place neither any access with the car

Evereything was perfect!

Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights, the place is perfect! Room, host, cleanliness, location, everything is 10/10. The room was very clean and had all the basics you might need during a trip. The host is the kindest person, and he knows the area too well, will give you a lot of tips of what to during your stay. Location is also great as the Room is located just 4 mins walk from the train station, in the main street. If you're going to Riomaggiore, this is definitely the place where you want to stay!

Riomaggiore for Cinque Terre

The warmth and hospitality of Giovanni is amazing.. he is like the best host during my entire Italy stay . I loved the cozy room, the sweet little treats and the terrace .. also, he help med us with our luggages … now the location .. it’s in the main street and pretty close to the rail station .. I loved every part of our stay at Riomaggiore.

The engagement before my arrival was exceptional. Domenico made my stay very special. He is a most welcoming, jolly and helpful host. I intend to return to 5 Terre and will stay in Banchi again.

I loved everything about my stay here. I absolutely fell in love with Riomaggiore and my heart yearns to return. The private shower was clean. The AC was strong. The room was spacious for myself, but would be comfortable for 2 people. I enjoyed the amenities, which were replenished. The staff was great. It is walking distance from restaurants, markets, gelato shops, everything.

The stairs! So steep! Please do not bring large and heavy luggage unless you plan to use the services of a porter to get your luggage up and down the stairs. Giovanni was very helpful when I arrived and provided a contact for a porter when I left.

Excellent!!

This place was great! Its located in the main street and its close to the train station (very useful when visiting the other towns). It was very clean and super comfortable. They even clean your room every day and provide coffee, tea and toiletries! The room was very comfortable and spacious with a window overlooking the colorful street. (The window has a double panel so you dont hear the noise from outside when its closed). The staff vas very nice. I would definitely recommend this place for your visit to Cinque Terre!

The only detail, which is not their fault, is that its located in a 4th floor with no elevator (its clearly stated in the description and its part of the charming architecture of Cinque Terre, so it will probably happen everywhere!)

Superb

The host was excellent and provided much information about the area and was most helpful. The room was cleaned daily. Coffee was provided. We really enjoyed the shared rooftop patio.

We found the 38 steps to our top floor apartment to be very steep and would be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues.

The location was excellent. Check-in was wonderful and informative. Pictures are accurate. Enjoyed the shared space on rooftop.

Storage space for clothes/towels. Even a few hooks on walls would have been great. Just a note also that there are a lot of stairs (58) and they are very high and steep.

I booked last minute and ended up being very happy with this great little spot.

Dominic (host) was very helpful and informative (re accessing the other villages etc). Made me feel welcome and helped carry my carry-on suitcase up the steep stairs. Building is charming. Room was small but clean and very adequate. Loved the roof-top patio. Right in the heart of the town/shopping areas.

Street noise that goes quite late then the early morning crashing of bottles (garbage pick-up). Don't think that anyone with anyone physical limitations could manage the very steep stairs. Don't take a big or heavy suitcase (unless you are very strong).

Really comfortable stay

We had a great stay. simple apartment with everything needed, aircon, bed, bathroom, fridge. A beautiful window looking out onto the main street. Getting here from the train satiation was so easy and the host helped us up the stairs to our apartment. there was a great common area rooftop which was furnished with tables and chairs and was so nice when eating in and was available whenever 24/7. The host gave us lots of information about cinque terre right on arrival and really helped us plan a great trip. He was also always available by text for any questions that we had which was amazing.

The location is amazing and right in the center on the main street, but that does mean that it got loud.

Great home base for Cinque terre

The room's air conditioning was amazing. The hosts greeted us earlier than check in time which was really sweet of them. The terrace on the top floor was a nice place to hang out at night. The hotel was a short walk from the train station which was very convenient

The room itself was along the main road which was noisy at night but that isn't the hotel's fault! We had a hard time closing our shower door properly.

A lovely room in a great location, overlooking the Main Street. We loved the beautiful sunny terrace and had such a warm welcome from Domenico when we arrived.

The perfect budget friendly stay in Riomaggiore!

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect! Barbara is very kind, there is a beautiful roof terrace to sit and have afternoon drinks, the room was cleaned and made up daily, and looks directly over the beautiful Main Street of Riomaggiore! There is a small fridge in the room along with tea and coffee making essentials. I honestly couldn’t fault anything about this place.

If you want great accomodation in Riomaggoire, stay with Viadeibanchi. The location is excellent and Domenico (staff) was very helpful and welcoming. Good room with good bathroom. The rooftop terrace is a great bonus and good place for breakfast.

The room is a little narrow to walk around in. There is some noise from the street outside. It doesn't have the best odour due to stale air.

If you’re comfortable with noise very late at night, then this place is a great location for access to restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive.

The location was too noisy as it is located right above a restaurant/bar. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and made my body ache every morning. Lastly, the bathroom was very dirty. There was mold in the shower, mildew and gunk in the sink, and dark hair all over the apartment from the previous guest…I ended up not being able to complete my stay and left a day early - which I can honestly say I’ve never done before but I truly felt like I couldn’t last another night. I feel badly because the host was so friendly, but ultimately this stay was far too uncomfortable and disappointing.
