Really good

The flat is situated in a quiet residential street, a 4 minute walk to the beach and 8 minutes to De Panne's main shopping street. It's equipped with a fridge and microwave. And there's a coffee pod machine - God only knows why they're so popular. There is an allocated parking space on site and additional free parking in the street outside. The flat was clean and comfortable. It's certainly on our list of places to return to. There is a bakery 200m away. The opening times plate says that it's closed on Mondays. We weren't there on a Monday so can't verify that but it was also closed on a Tuesday. So beware.

We struggled to connect our laptops to the Wi-Fi. I traced the problem to the router being either very slow in providing an IP address or not providing one at all. My solution was to give the laptops a fixed IP address e.g. 192.168.0.18x, gateway 192.168.0.1 which immediately solved the problem. We also had trouble with our mobile phones - a lot of websites were unreachable. I found that although the phone had acquired an IP address it was on the 192.168.1.x subnet. Again, providing a fixed IP address on the 192.168.0.x subnet as described above, fixed it. This review is not the right place for a tutorial on the difference between dynamic and static IP addresses but I hope it may help you connect.

Perfect getaway, quiet, private, but close to beach and shops.

Central, quiet location, not far from the beach. Room exceptionally clean, decorated with great taste, comfortable beds and great shower. Buffet breakfast in hotel with great choice and tasty. Staff very helpful.

Due to the virus the pool was closed. Will try it next visit.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft!

Die Wege zum Zentrum, Strand, Plopsaland, Tram... sind alle kurz und übersichtlich. Das Zimmer ist mit dem Nötigen Ausgestattet und sauber. (Zimmerservice auf Anfrage) Das Hotel Villa Select betreut die Unterkunft. Parkplatz gross und direkt vor der Haustür. Kosten sehr korrekt. + Wir hatten Gegenstände liegen gelassen und bekamen schnell und professionelle Antworten. Das Material ist bereits wieder bei uns und hat super funktioniert!!!

Das Haus ist etwas Ringhörig (Hauptsächlich im Gang), da es noch andere Apartments im Haus vermietet. Der Lärm war aber immer Kurz und durch die guten Betten haben wir schnell nichts mehr gehört ;)

Le logement est bien situé, proche de la plage et dans un quartier calme.

La chambre n'était pas propre. Le ménage a l'air d'avoir été fait très rapidement. Le sol était poussiéreux. Les tasses à café mises à disposition avaient été utilisées par les locataires précédents et n'avaient pas été nettoyées. Nous l'avons signalé à la réception, qui les a changées le lendemain. Mais la soucoupe qui était également sale ne l'a pas été. La bouilloire contenait toujours de l'eau et était pleine de calcaire. Le ventilateur mis à disposition était rempli de poussière et n'a certainement jamais été nettoyé. Il y avait également une tâche de gras sur un des miroirs de la garde-robe.

Une triste étape lors d'un voyage à vélo

"Villa" sans personnel, donc sans accueil. Il faut aller chercher ses clés à 800 mètres dans un hôtel. La chambre n'était pas propre, il a fallu par exemple complètement démonter le ventilateur qui n'avait pas dû servir depuis des années, il était totalement encrassé par la poussière qui s'parpillait partout à la mise en marche. Du café de disponible ? oui 2 dosettes....

Le petit déjeuner était royal et un vrai plus pour la sympathie à l'accueil et lors du déjeuner. La terrasse de la chambre vraiment agréable et la chambre très lumineuse .

Heel vriendelijk onthaal en vlotte service,goede locatie,ruime oppervlakte woonst,parking voor de deur.

Woonst was niet overal even proper,Hier en daar wat onafgewerkte stukjes,terras was heel erg vuil. Geen zetel aanwezig maar 4 losse 1 zitjes, voor 1 nachtje is dit oke maar voor meerdere dagen met gezin zou dit erg tegensteken (persoonlijk)
