What a wonderful, little gem this hotel is! Under a minute to walk to the beach, but the hotel itself is a comfortable refuge from the outside activity. Beautiful lounge, dining room, and outdoor patios. Breakfast was included so I didn't expect much, but what a memorable surprise! Variety, quality and attention to detail like I have rarely seen in my life. I wish I could've stayed a few more days.

I DID NOT LIKE THAT THEY LOCKED THE DOORS FOR THE NIGHT WITH NO-ONE PRESENT.WHEN I RETURNED FROM DINNER, I COULD NOT GAIN ACCESS AND SLEPT THE NIGHT IN MY CAR.

Really well located just outside the city centre, this is a well run hotel by friendly and efficient staff. Close to the beach, the hotel has good rooms with good bathrooms. The tram - which runs just in front of the hotel - is not a nuisance - even windows open. Excellent breakfast. Will stay there again and would recommend.

The breakfast was outstanding. Congrats to the chef! The staff was very helpful. The room was very small. We loved the beach albeit rainy & cold. We walked to France!

Be aware that there is no air conditioning. It was sweltering hot, and the only option is to open the window. Of course, there are no screens, so the room fills with flies. That is the biggest problem. Room was very small, and shower was like a cruise ship. Breakfast was good, and plentiful, with some dishes new every day. Some staff was friendly, some decidedly not. It seems to be more of an 8.0 property, nowhere near a 9.4.

The hotel has a nice location -just 2 min. walk from the sea-. We just stayed one night because we were there for a dinner nearby we had to attend but a longer stay would have been nice. The building is old, but the interior has been renovated. The room is spotless. Breakfast is good: lots of cheeses, fresh fruit, sparkling wine. The quality of the bread could have been better (also the croissants were over baked) and I prefer a baguette in the morning but that's a detail. All in all a good place to stay.

Really nice hotel just off the seafront at De Panne. Very handy for cross channel ferries, particularly if youve had a long journey and dont want another long drive without an overnight rest. Staff were very nice and we were given a suite on the first floor which was very comfortable. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay there again.
