Maybe the soap dispenser and shampoo dispenser could be a bit more classy it doesn’t match the vibe of the room but nothing else

Everyone that worked there was very nice and helpful. Adriana was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed about the area. Santa Teresa is historic and very cool.
The house is beautiful, very well decorated and with amazing views. Lots of great places to just sit and relax. But be prepared to go up and down lots of stairs.

A magical place to stay. A real gem on the slopes of Santa Teresa one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Rio. The hotel, was an old family home with Art Deco details, is full of objects and intriguing decorations beautifully curated by Adriana the owner. The beautiful breakfast room, the general sitting room overlook the sloping garden/ pool and view over the bay to the Sugar Loaf mountain, just perfect to sit, relax (as is the garden round the swimming pool). Great breakfast with eggs made to order, delicious fruit fools, cakes, and lots of delicacies, that you can see being made in the kitchen. Staff all very helpful and obviously enjoy the magic of the place. A short walk up hill takes you to a small area of restaurants, bars and shops. Downhill to the financial centre.

The character and history of the building was just fabulous. The sympathetic updating of the property maintained its heritage.
Everything was just perfect.
