Paolo was an excellent host. Every morning we would have great conversations with him at breakfast. He had some good suggestions on what to see on some of the places we were going to. Breakfast was good and great view of the lake every morning.

Great apartment for a 4-5 days trip

Paolo is such a great host. Warm and welcoming and especially at the breakfast he’s having a chat with all his guests individually. He’s asking for needs, daily plans and is giving nice recommendations. We stayed in Forsters Nest, which is located like in the second row behind the hotels and you can enjoy a beautiful lake view from the balcony. It has its own kitchen as well and the bathroom is very spacious. Great place to stay! Good to know: for breakfast you have to walk 4-5 minutes from Forsters Nest to Casa Forster.

sweet little stay for a mini city

short walk to a mini piazza of Verbano, the hotel was highly styled and comfortable, staff, especially Ivan was incredible!

Very good

Paolo has been a very nice host, we had very interesting talks. The room had a beautiful view to the lake with a little balcony, to have an afternoon tea. The breakfast was excellent. Parking of the car has to be on a parking slot down the street for 10€ per day or you use one of the charge-free parking areas if available.

Paolo was a warm and welcoming host for our last minute post hiking booking. The property is beautiful- no detail unconsidered. As an architect who restores historic properties, it was clear that this was a labor of love. The art was amazing - complete with descriptions in English explaining the piece and it’s history. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Really, the entire experience was an unexpected treat!

Best way to start our holiday

We booked just an hour prior to our arrival. Paolo was easy to contact and he also left us a note with all the check-in instructions. It was our first night in Italy and we couldn't have wished for a better place to start our holiday: location is great, view is wonderful and nice restaurants nearby.

We booked a room with a bathtub but we got a shower. A nice shower but a shower :-)

Alles in allem hat es uns gefallen , aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist zu hoch

das Zimmer, die Lage und schöne Frühstücksterrasse , freundlicher Wirt

beim Duschen kam fast nur kaltes Wasser, ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre auch nicht schlecht gewesen, es git nur einen kleinen im Untergeschoss im Flur , Frühstück war auch minimal, das Rührei schwamm im Wasser und sah auch etwas unappetittlich aus , auf dem Teller verirrten sich etwas Käse und Schinken, Kaffee war super Ablage für Koffer wäre auch nicht schlecht

Wunderschönes altes italienisches Haus mit schönen alten Möbeln und einem fantastischen Blick auf den See! Entzückende Frühstücksterrasse und ein leckeres Frühstück!
