An interesting old Villa with a very friendly staff.

Well managed accommodation, close to the lake as well as rural tracks. The Villa is an old house with thick walls that enable good insulation during hot days.

The space of a parking lot is rather limited for bigger/ longer cars. There is some noise from the main road during the peak season due to too much traffic.

The hosts are very kind and friendly! We felt very welcome and we were asked daily if everything was ok. The view is great and it was great that we had the opportunity to eat breakfast at the neighbouring hotel.

You have to take many stairs to get to the beach - can be tough for some people (e.g., when you are pregnant). But: You can also get there by car, there are many parking opportunities in Cannero.

Wonderful place in a fantastic location - very close to the beach of Lake Maggiore

Fantastic location and wonderful views over the lake. The room we chose had its own terrace and was very spacious. We liked that there were only 3 other guest rooms so it felt quiet but we did meet other guests and chatted which was nice. Great that we could go next door for breakfast. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us- Franzsicka went out of her way to help with the taxi when we missed the bus and offered lots of local information. She was super available and welcoming which made our stay even better.

Being above the road bothered me at first as its very busy during the day- however, it is totally quiet in the evening so it wasn't an issue and I would stay here again.

A wonderful week in a beautiful location.

A fantastic week. The views where amazing. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The terrace was great and we spent many happy hours chilling, drinking local wine and enjoying the location. The hosts where friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Will stay here again

The kettle could have been a bit larger - needed to boil it twice to make a full pot of tea.

The view from our balcony over Lago Maggiore was breathtaking. Early morning sun, and shade in the evening. Classic older home with a lot of Italian flair. Short walk to the beach, which is one of the nicest swimming locations on the Lago Maggiore.

Great location and friendly hosts

We had a great few days staying at Villa Angelina. The hosts were very friendly and happy to give us recommendations, the whole guesthouse was super clean and we had a spacious room with an amazing view of the lake from our balcony. The location of the villa was great, just 5 minutes walk to a lovely little beach for a swim in the lake and from there you could walk along the lakeside into the main part of town (another 5 minute walk). We had our 2 dogs with us and it was the perfect place to stay with them. We had a great time and ended up staying an extra night.

Wonderful stay at Villa Angelina!

Very nice B&B close to the beach and the village Cannero Riviera. The villa is a beautiful old building and well maintained. There is a communal kitchen and fridge that you can use. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we got fresh towels daily. We had the big room with the terrace, with a great view of the lake. It’s absolutely worth paying extra for! Breakfast is at the next door hotel, just a 20m walk and is very decent for €5. It’s also very convenient for dinner and the food is great! Franziska is a really wonderful host!! Even though she couldn’t be present at check-in she was very involved in our wellbeing during our stay and it was easy to keep in touch. She called us before arrival for all the details and even called us during a thunderstorm to make sure we were okay. When it got quite hot in the room in the nights she arranged a fan to be placed the same day. Thank you! It’s a 5 min walk to the beach via a path that leads down from the next door hotel. The beach is very cozy and not to busy, and if you prefer a bigger beach with more restaurants etc you can walk another 5-10 min to the main beach. That’s also the best path to the village by foot since the road uphill is only for cars. The village has some nice restaurants for lunch/dinner and it’s great to have a stroll around on cloudy days. There is also a supermarket in the village and a small market on Fridays.

die Lage bietet traumhafte Blicke über den See. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, engagiert und hat ein WIFI Problem sofort über Whatsapp Kommunikation gelöst. Das Frühstück ist im Nachbar Hotel, bietet große Vielfalt und der Blick von der Terrasse über den See herrlich.

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Lage, sehr nette Führung, sehr gut durchdacht, sehr sauber!

Wir haben das Zimmer sehr spontan gebucht, weil wir in unserer ursprünglich gebuchten Unterkunft nicht bleiben konnten und ein Zimmer für eine Nacht brauchten. Direkt nach der Buchung über Booking.com sind wir telefonisch von Franziska kontaktiert worden und sie hat uns gefragt wann wir ankommen. Wir sind dann schon von Franziska und Roberta am Hotel empfangen und direkt sehr herzlich aufgenommen worden. Unser Gepäck konnten wir sehr praktisch über einen Lastenaufzug direkt vom Parkplatz zum Hotel befördern. Unser Zimmer war super, sehr schön eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Wir hatten eine kleine Terrasse, von der wir direkt auf den Lago Maggiore geblickt haben - ein umwerfender Ausblick! Weiterhin mussten wir nur über die Straße gehen, konnten dann über Treppen den Hang heruntergehen und waren dann direkt an der Strandpromenade von Cannero, über die man dann auch in wenigen Gehminuten Restaurants und den kleinen Hafen erreichen kann. Im Eingangsbereich des Hotels kann man sich Kaffee mit einer Nespresso Maschine kochen und was wir ganz toll fanden, waren die zwei großen Kühlschränke. In dem einen hat jedes Zimmer sein eigenes Fach und dort kann man seine eigenen Getränke kühlen. Der zweite Kühlschrank ist mit Wasser, Cola, Limonaden, Bier und Wein durch die Gastgeberinnen gefüllt und man kann sich dort bedienen und die Getränke zu sehr fairen Preisen kaufen. Unser kurzer Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr schön und wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben sind die Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit der beiden Gastgeberinnen Franziska und Roberta. Wir kamen sehr gestresst am Hotel an und waren innerhalb kürzester Zeit sehr erholt - vielen Dank :-)

Einfach toll.

Die gesamte Anlage war toll. Das Zimmer mit Bad und Terrasse mit Markise war insgesamt sehr geräumig und für den Aufenthalt für uns optimal. Die Treppen zu der wunderschön gelegenen Villa muss man gehen können. Der Lastenaufzug für den Transport des Gepäcks ist sehr hilfreich. Alles in allem hat es genau das gebracht was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Die beiden Besitzerinnen sind immer auf das Wohl ihrer Geste bedacht ohne aufdringlich zu erscheinen.

Hervorragende Gastgeber, top Lage und absolute Sauberkeit – eine tolle Unterkunft von A bis Z. Es ist vollkommen nachvollziehbar, warum sie so gut bewertet wird.

Schöner erholsamer Kurzurlaub in einem tollen Haus mit netten Gastgeberinnen !

Die Lage war absolut toll. Wir hatten einen schönen Blick über den See. Die Ortschaft und das Ufer mit kleinem Badestrand auch mit Hunden war über einen Fußweg zu erreichen. Die abgezäunte Gartenterrasse war für uns und unsere Hunde ideal. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Nachbarhotel war sehr gut. Die Gastgeberinnen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
