Beautiful location and breakfast with lake view as highlight

- Peaceful location, but close to strand & town - Small, but quality breakfast on beautiful terrace with lake view - Victorian style architecture of the building - Friendly staff who can also speak english & german - Cute & friendly cats around the area - Air conditioned room

- Balcony not inside the room, it's a common space for all - Rooms quite outdated but has charme; the doors are really old-fashioned and were difficult to open & lock - We were offered comfort room initially instead of Classic style room, but it was too small & bathroom was cramped / We demanded the classic room which was far bigger even though bit outdated

I wish we could have stayed here for our entire trip. It started with the super nice host who waited for us till we arrived in the late evening. Our room was super! Everything was there what was needed. We woke up with an Beautiful view! The breakfast was perfect!! Super rich! Fresh croissants, fruits and cakes, we enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stunning location and wonderful staff, you are made to feel so welcome.

I have never before been made to feel so welcomed on arrival at a hotel. The owners and staff were exceptionally lovely. The view and property is gorgeous, they have multiple terraces so you can sit with a drink or sunbathe. Its a very beautiful place. Nothing was too much trouble. We came back most nights for dessert, the tiramisu and profiteroles were wonderful.

Only that it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room maybe, to keep water cold.

Very rude sfaff and disorganised! I told them of my early checkout needs and they could not arrange it. Indeed, they accused me to run away! The facility Is bad, very poor sound insulation and dated forniture.

Superb

The location is great. A bit up the hill but with a great view of the lake. You have lake view from the room and from the restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. You get complimentary water in the room and aperol at the bar. Breakfast is not too extravagant but sufficient. Choice of cold cuts, pastries, cereals and jams. Restaurant also has very good foor for dinner. The beach is a short walk down the stairs. Small one maybe 5 min and the main beach maybe 10 min. There is a bar and rental on the beach. So as far as location goes this is great. Our room had everything we need including AC.

The only downside was the smell of medicine in the room. Not really sure from what. It would disappear after you start the AC, but come back if you were gone for the day.

Lucky to find this place

We were lucky to find this hotel. Great location and view over Lago Maggiore. Room was very nice , quiet and clean. Very friendly staff. we got lot of good advices and tips where to go etc. We will return for sure.

Access by foot into town is via a steep path down to the lake shore so would not be suitable for everyone. Otherwise you have to use the car.

Fantastic view over the Lago Maggiore, from the room or from the breakfast area. We also tried the restaurant which was really good. Very helpful and professional staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Ein wunderschöner, erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem charmanten Hotel mit viel Herz.

Uns hat besonders die freundliche Atmosphäre und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft gefallen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See war ein echtes Highlight. Auch die Lage ist perfekt – ruhig, aber trotzdem nah am Zentrum und am Wasser.

Comfort e vista lago in un hotel romantico

Tutto era perfetto: la camera grande con grande balcone vista lago, un vero spettacolo. Pulizia al top, il letto comodo, presenza del bollitore per prepararsi il te o il caffe. Tutto il hotel molto elegante, è una villa storica. Il proprietario gentilissimo. La colazione con vasta scelta di salato e dolce. Torte fatte in casa. Si fa la colazione sulla stupenda terrazza vista lago. 10 min a piedi dal lago e il centro. Ottimi ristoranti si raggiungono in 10/15 min a piedi. Sicuramente torneremo in questo bellissimo albergo. Vale 4 stelle.

Experiência única em edifício de época (Villa de 1930) com o Lago Maggiore aos pés

Alojamento ímpar (quarto 7 - "art déco" - no 2º piso de um edifício de 1930), vista soberba sobre o Lago Maggiore e a vila de Cannero, pequeno almoço muito bom e variado (servido na varanda) e simpatia dos proprietários.

Sendo um edifício de 1930 (embora já restaurado) tem o contra de ... não ter elevador (atenção aos mais idosos) de acesso ao 1º e 2º andares, e de o WC do/no quarto ser um pouco acanhado... - é "o preço" da idade e da classe desta Villa
