Sehr schöne Lage. Toller Pool. Frühstück vielfältig und man kann auch draußen direkt am Wasser oder der Veranda mit Seeblick frühstücken. Apartment scheint irgendwie zu Hotel Cannero dazuzugehören. Gratis parken bei Villa Luisa, wenn man nicht für die Tiefgarage direkt bei der Unterkunft bezahlen will oder diese schon voll ist. Aufzug vorhanden. Schöner Strand im Ort.
Ausstattung der Küche im Apartment könnte deutlich besser sein (kein Wasserkocher vorhanden, Geschirr auch recht spärlich). Ansonsten war alles toll.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Betten sind nicht optimal, Bettsofa eine Katastrophe. Leitungen klopfen in der Nacht und am Morgen.

I was quite disappointed with this apartment. First though, the good: the setting and location is wonderful. The hotel is within 50 metres of the ferry landing stage, on the picturesque lakefront and there is a supermarket a couple of hundred metres away up one of the alleys, so if, like us, you’re using public transport to travel around Italy, the situation is ideal. The apartment has a lovely little balcony looking out onto the multiple levels of the colourful interior. The living room and bedrooms are spacious and reasonably clean. We couldn’t figure out the heating system, but the apartment does have aircon-heating.
On the negative side, the feel of the apartment is that it is just somewhere to sleep for the night. It has no warmth or comfort about it. The only decoration on the wall is the mandatory insurance certificate, the furniture is showing wear and tear and, apart from the TV, there are no home comforts at all. You know that 'echo' you get when you go into a bare, uninhabited house? That's the feeling.
The biggest issue, however, was that the description implies a well-equipped kitchenette and this was why we chose this place over other, cheaper apartments. However, the reality is that there is hardly any equipment at all and you would struggle to prepare even a simple hot meal. There was no kettle, no chopping board, no wine glasses, no tea towels and not even a coffee pot. What self-respecting Italian apartment owner does not even provide the means to make a cup of coffee? To be fair to the staff, when we complained about all this they provided us with some equipment by the evening, for which we thank them again, but at this price we shouldn’t need to embarrass ourselves by having to ask.
I’m sure there are much better value apartments in Cannero and I would recommend shopping around.
