Our host was charming and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Spotless, homely and luxurious surroundings were complimented by useful recommendations and guidance. Theresa helped make our stay in Killarney very memorable.

Amazing host in this immaculate property

The whole experience of staying at this fab property was an excellent one. Teresa is incredibly helpful & couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast is amazing & enough choice including homemade soda bread. Our room was immaculate & lovely furnishings. Plenty of parking too. About a 10 - 15 minute walk into Killarney itself. Thank you so much Teresa.

Beautiful and comfy accommodations close to the action of the city center within easy walking distance but far enough for peace and quiet. Wonderful breakfast, and Teresa took our requests for the perfect start to our days. Good size shower with excellent pressure and first rate bedding. Excellent recommendations for food and nightly activities as well.

Given a choice of rooms, we were able to have one on the ground floor. The landlady gave us a lot of information such as places to visit, restaurants and pubs with live Irish music.

Location was superb. Quiet area but near the town centre. Accommodation was spotless and all needs were met. Theresa was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our trip was much enhanced by all the tips she gave us.

Lovely experience

Had a lovely experience staying here. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied -- everyone can find something they prefer. The location is central and is within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes, as well as the park. The host is incredibly attentive to detail and ready to provide helpful recommendations. Would happily recommend staying at this property to family and friends.

Lovely experience all the way around!

The room was large with comfortable and clean furnishings. The bathroom was nice sized, and the breakfast provided was somewhat personalized to us, and not expected. The owner was very knowledgable of the area, and gave excellent dining and travel tips.

Due to the town itself being rather crowded, we didn't want to drive to dinner and shopping, so we walked. The location of the home was a 15 minute walk to dining, which is a bit longer than tired travelers prefer. We would have loved 5 minutes closer, but this was one of our favorite places to stay in all of Ireland! We were in the country for almost 2 weeks, and moved from day to day, so we stayed in many locations. This one is TOP notch!

The location was convenient to the adventures we had planned and to downtown. The home was beautiful, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! We learned so much from the owner, and loved our personable chats. We highly recommend booking a stay at Guaire House.

Wonderful stay at Guaire House

We loved our stay at Guaire House, Teresa was very welcoming and friendly, she looked after us really well and gave us great tips for our stay. The bedroom was big, lovely and clean and one of the comfiest beds that I have slept in. The breakfast options were great. I'm vegan so I brought my own milk but there was plenty of cereal/toast and fruit for me to eat. My partner loved the cooked breakfast. It's in walking distance to the town centre and national park and plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Killarney.

The town of Killarney can be very "boisterous" in the evenings; Guarie House was a lovely escape.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, and peaceful location. Teresa and Jonathan were so welcoming and helpful! The breakfast was excellent, served in the lovely dining room, with table linens, china and silverware, with pleasant background music....very civilized way to start the day!

We could not have been looked after any better, a truly lovely experience.

The host Teresa was fabulous. She was so welcoming and helpful. We received detailed information from Jonathan and Teresa which guided us so well in choosing excellent, reasonably priced restaurants, routes to places we wanted to visit and all sorts of useful pointers. If we are in Killarney at any stage in the future we would not book anywhere else - and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Teresa was a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were delicious and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We were never rushed and enjoyed our time chatting with other guests as well as our hostess.
