The locations is perfect: close to the Vatican, terrific shopping and eating options all around, and the metro very close by.
Without the air conditioner on, there is quite a lot of street noise…it’s a very popular street for shopping.

We had a wonderful stay at Polinari Rooms San Pietro. This is a charming, family-run guesthouse with exceptionally kind and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent: the Vatican is only a 5-minute walk away, and the nearest metro station is very close, making it easy to explore the city. Our double room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and despite the central location, the area was quiet at night. We were even able to sleep with the window open, which we greatly appreciated. A small breakfast was served each morning and was a pleasant start to the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Rome and would happily stay here again. Many thanks to our lovely hosts for their warm hospitality. Highly recommended.
