The beauty of the place is overshadowed by the lack of basic hospitality.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The house itself is full of charm, surrounded by greenery with lovely views. It’s peaceful and quiet, with four adorable donkeys and goats that add to the character of the place. You get the best of the mountains while being just 10 minutes from the lake, an ideal combination.

The location is charming but the hospitality was disappointing. Although the listing mentions at the very end that you can bring your own bed sheets or rent them for €15 per person, this is misleading. A rental property should include sheets by default; no one travels with their own. We arrived to find no bedding, and when we requested sheets for three beds and a baby cot, we were given mismatched single sheets that didn’t properly fit, just enough for two beds, and nothing for the baby. Despite this, I was still asked to pay €15 per person. I reluctantly paid for two as a gesture of goodwill. To make matters worse, the shower was completely blocked and when we asked for it to be fixed, they simply left a bottle of Mr Muscle and expected us to sort it out ourselves. Unbelievable. Additionally, the plates and cups in the kitchen were dirty, clearly not checked or cleaned before our arrival. It’s a shame because the house itself is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. With some basic improvements in hospitality, cleanliness, and responsiveness, this place could truly be great.

We had a very relaxing and wonderful week high above Lago Maggiore

The location was excellent! We enjoyed the quietness and the company of the donkeys and goats. The views over Lago Maggiore are magnificient at every time of the day and under all wheather conditions. The public areas are extremely generous, kept in great condition and allow you to spread out etc. There is a lovely village restaurant in walking distance. Other hiking trails beckon right next to the property.

There was no cutting board. And for the price I think that bed linen and towels should have been included.

Good location and Good host

We liked the owners, they were quick in reacting if there was a problem and also helped a lot when welcoming. Location was for us the most positive point because ww could leave our dog off the leash always without any concerns. Nice place to walk around to explore and even to enjoy the view of the lake.

Since we were with an infant it was necessary that she gets quiet room but floors made lot of notice if we walked . little more utensils in kitchen would have been better, I really missed BBQ as the utensils were really not in condition to use. Also note that since there are two apartments, we could hear the noise from other apartment , this could be a problem if baby gets disturbed.

Location is like a paradise. Very green and excellent panoramic views. Very much space for all activities. The house is fantastic and it's very much events to go around in the region.

The location and views were wonderful, like a private oasis. There were plenty of different areas to sit depending on the weather.

A few more "basic" facilities that today have become expected such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, more loo paper, tin foil, cling film etc.

Omringd door rust en natuur.

De locatie en het gebouw zijn fenomenaal. Badkamer en slaapkamer waren erg fijn en mooi ingericht. Bed sliep heerlijk en het uitzicht wauw. Wat een rust heerlijk. Hele week alleen door gebracht op het terrein. De ezels en geit zijn erg gezellig en leuk erbij te hebben. Voldoende toiletpapier aanwezig en vaatwastabletten. Ook zelfs koffiefilters 🙌🏽 op het terrein zijn voldoende zitjes verdeeld, heel fijn ook een plekje voor een kampvuurtje is mogelijk. Dichtbij zijn mooie wandelpaden. Echt een plek waar je huisdieren en kinderen de ruimte hebben en krijgen. Wat een vrijheid en rust ❤️❤️❤️

Maar dit kan zo veel beter, het is erg jammer om te zien dat er zo veel achterstallig onderhoud is aan het terrein/groen. Het heeft zo veel potentie en kansen om nog zo veel mooier en groter te worden echt echt zonde. Ongebruikte ruimtes onderzijde en een groot braakliggend terrein onder met oude gebouwtjes. De wasmachine was niet bruikbaar en de speeltuin was slecht en daar hadden we wel op geboekt ivm onze dochter. Het kleine appartement is erg onlogisch ingedeeld en ingericht waardoor je geen fijne eetruimte en woonruimte kunt hebben helaas. Het grote appartement is daarintegen erg mooi ingericht maar ook daar niet echt een woonkamer aanwezig. We hebben 1 eigenaar kort mogen ontmoeten deze was erg gedreven, vriendelijk en enthousiast, we hadden ook graag kennis gemaakt met de anderen bijv. bij het einde van ons verblijf maar hebben ons gehele verblijf niemand gezien op het terrein. Wat meer betrokkenheid zou denk ik wel gewaardeerd worden. In de keuken zou het fijn zijn als er een thee en handdoek aanwezig kon zijn en een stofzuiger ipv een veger.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist wunderschön und bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Esel und die Ziege auf dem Grundstück. Die Betten waren äußerst bequem, sodass wir jede Nacht hervorragend geschlafen haben. Auch die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein Nachteil ist, dass man die Bewohner der zweiten Wohnung hören kann und beim Öffnen der Fenster sehr schnell Spinnen und Stechmücken in der Wohnung hat. Fliegennetze an den Fenstern wären super. Zudem kann die Anfahrt durch die enge, kurvige Straße an manchen Stellen herausfordernd sein, insbesondere wenn einem ein Auto entgegen kommt.

Wundervoll und bestens ausgestattet

Ein echtes Paradies auf Erden! Wir haben hier eine Woche in purer Entspannung verbracht. Die Wohnung (Ciliegio) bietet alles, was man braucht, Dario, Fulvio und Monica sind sehr nett. Highlight für uns waren Esel und Ziege. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist schmal, für tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge ungeeignet

Sehr erholsam in der Natur und doch kurze Wege zum See.

Der tolle Garten mit Esel und Ziegen, die Weitläufigkeit, das zirpen der Grillen, der Blick zum See, die Grillstellen, die Aussicht, der große Parkplatz.

Anfahrt durch die sehr schmale Straße (nicht für tiefergelegte PKWs geeignet). Keine deutschen Sender im TV

Geweldig uitzicht. De dieren erbij was een aanwinst. Het was erg schoon. De bedden lagen goed.

Het was eigen enorm gehorig. Je hoort letterlijk wat de buren zeggen. Het apparatuur en onderhoud mag bijgehouden worden.

Paradies

Es war paradiesisch, die Lage mit der Aussicht auf den See und die Natur vor der Haustür mit den Eseln und Ziegen war einmalig. Man kann Vorort direkt zu Wandertouren aufbrechen oder einfach nur das schöne Wetter im Garten genießen. Zur Ausstattung gibt es kaum etwas zu bemängeln außer ein fehlender Backofen (hatten die kleine Wohnung) was aber eigentlich kein Problem sein sollte da es unten am See oder auch in den Bergen klasse Restaurants gibt. Oder man grillt im Garten da ein Grill und sogar eine Lagerfeuerstelle vorhanden sind. Man sollte vielleicht beachten das man die Ferienwohnung nur über eine enge kurvenreiche Straße erreichen kann, aber für einen geübten Fahrer stellt das keine Probleme dar. Im Ganzen war es einer der schönsten und erholsamsten Urlaube die ich in den letzten Jahren erleben durfte. Danke PS. Unserem Hund hat es auch sehr gefallen
