If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful hotel with gorgeous views, this hotel is for you

The location of Agriturismo Al Motto was just a 10-minute drive from Verbania - which was perfect for shops and restaurants and great views of Lake Maggiore. This family-run hotel is set within a blueberry and quince farm, with amazing views. Being a small hotel (just 10 rooms) it was quiet and very relaxing with a gorgeous pool. The staff were so friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was simple, but plenty and their homemade blueberry juice was delicious and taken in the family farmhouse.

With the very warm evenings, it would have been nice if the pool was open a bit later into the evening. But that didn't stop us enjoying it! Room walls were a little thin - we could hear music and chatter from our neighbours, but that was just a couple nights!

Very peaceful place, beautiful view from the room, and very friendly staff. This is a farm business that runs a hotel residence on the side, so it's a very simple and chilled atmosphere

You need to take the car to go everywhere, but the remoteness of the hotel is also why it's so charming and peaceful

Pool was closed already by 19.30 and there was no air conditioner in the room.

Quiet location and value for money!

We had a great stay. The place is in a quiet area with a nice swimming pool, the lady was really nice to extend the pool hours as it was a hot day. Simple room with a simple breakfast just good enough for our overnight stay and also for that price, we are not complaining! (Just missing some eggs) The short off road going to the property is not a problem for us with an suv. We had a backyard room for 4, it was a basic room but very private. We also discovered Cambius pizzeria nearby for dinner. We will def. Stay here again and for sure longer for our next Laggo Magiore trip.

Very nice agriturismo at a beautiful and peaceful location, nice view on Verbania. It is a the ideal location if you are travelling by car to go hiking in the mountains or to go to Lago Maggiore. The breakfast was very nice. Having a pool in the summer is also great (though I did not use it as I stayed in spring).

Gorgeous views, cute place and friendly staff

cute property nestled away on the hillside. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good too - fresh croissant, toast, coffee. The view was stunning too and the rooms were nice and big. nice that they made produce from the apple orchards too.

The road to get into the property is unpaved and full of potholes so it’s a little bumpy and scary. Our mattress was very uncomfortable and we both slept poorly and woke up with sore backs.

apparently, restaurant is only open Thursday - Sunday which we were not informed on until we came there, meaning we had to go with the car to the city to have dinner each night. this should be clear in the description. further, there was no fridge or anywhere to buy something cold to drink and also not possible to get a cold glass of water during the day.

Bad

Be careful ! I have reserved a room with 4 beds for 2 persons and apparently booking have only reserved for 1 person. At the check-in, the woman said « no problem, there are 4 beds in your room, it’s just a problem with booking» but at the check-out she said : you need to pay twice because you are two !!! So we had to pay 200€ for 1 room whereas booking displayed only 100€ !!! The legal minimum would have been announced at the check-in. The woman wouldn’t know anything. We will never go back again.

Basic rooms but a great place!

The location, staff, pool and breakfast were all great. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. From the Agriturismo, driving up the mountain towards Alpe Pala, you're within 15 min at the edge of the Parco Nazionale Val Grande. A magnificent place for hiking and enjoying the autumn forest. Driving down the mountain, you're within 15 min in Verbania with lots of opportunities for shopping, nice bars and restaurants.

The rooms are clean, spacious but a bit basic. It would be nice to have more chairs/seats and a small table to sit at in the evening.

Parcheggio interno, accoglienza, posizione. la piscina è molto carina ma in quella zona non è possibile andarci con i cani nonostante sia una struttura Pet friendly...

Mancanza di un area in zona piscina dove poter tenere il cane a vista, è impensabile lasciarlo chiuso in stanza. La camera non era ben pulita (la ventola a soffitto aveva due dita di polvere sopra). Le stanze sul retro molto lugubri con vista poco piacevole. La zona del parco naturale completamente abbandonata e priva di animali (riportati invece nella cartina all ingresso). Per accedere al balcone della camera bisogna passare dal bagno... Nessun porta carta igienica a muro o appendino per i teli

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr gepflegte Anlage. Große saubere Zimmer. Sehr ruhige etwas abgelegene Lage mit tollem Panorama.

Die Zufahrt ist etwas versteckt und für Sportwagen oder Fahrzeuge mit Sportfahrwerk fast unmöglich. Der Frühstückraum ist in einem Nebengebäude und nur über eine Naturtreppe mit Wurzeln zu erreichen. Nicht geeignet für gehbehinderte Personen.

Er was geen algemene ruimte buiten waar je savonds een wijntje kon drinken en nadat ik vroeg om 2 wijnglazen waren er enkel witte plastic bekers beschikbaar. De weg naar de locatie toe kan wat ruig zijn voor lagere autos.
