It was magical

Violetta and her family were like our family away from home. I felt like we've know them forever. The location is amazing. Spectabular views, directly on the best part of the beach in this quaint alcove. Quick 5 minute walk to town and everything you could possibly want. Love the feel of the traditional bungalows. It really added to the laid back vibe of our time away and disconnected.

The room we stayed in has a private make-shift bath and make-shift kitchenette which adds to the rustic nature of the traditional bungalows. If you like it real rustic but still like having your own bathroom then as it is works nicely. The fixtures work fine but are cracked and old. Along with the tile, they're due for updating those. They are on top of some wonderful fixes and updates as they take care of the damage slowly from a hurricane a couple of years ago.

Very pleasant relaxing stay, would come back.

Nice basic huts on the beach, location doesn’t get any better, you can sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Very helpful people, nice breakfasts and lunches are served.

If you are on a downstairs accommodation it can be pretty noisy from upstairs guests.

The property needs to be organized. It has so much potential to be clean and straight forward. Things are cluttered and it needs work and maintenance on the grounds.

Amazing location directly on the beach, really friendly and helpful owners, comfortable basic accommodation.

It's very rustic more so than expected. Be aware you need to pay in cash on arrival not with credit card.

Family-run community immerse in the nature by the ocean!

The owners will make sure you feel at home, and the other guests are super friendly as well, fantastic atmosphere! From my room I could see the ocean and be in the water in two minutes. I loved that I had a private space but there was always nice people around, it felt very cozy.

Not the best place if you are scared of insects and little rainforest animals as I am, however after one day I relaxed and forgot about it, and it was so worth it because I've had a fantastic time.

Beautiful place, but needs some work.

Fabulous location with sea views and ocean sounds. A nice hang out area for meeting other guests.

Some areas needed cleaning and fixing - needs some TLC. There were lots of mosquitoes at night in the room and no mesh on the windows (nor blinds or curtains either). There was a mosquito net, which was great, but it had some fairly big holes in it... The owner is very friendly but as a woman travelling alone I felt like he was too touchy feely for me.

True Paradise on the Beach

I actually have stayed here many times now. Antonio is so helpful and a fantastic host. The location is a 10 and views are a 10. I can't recommend this place enough! The beach is right in front and the views are amazing. If you want a resort go elsewhere. This place has really has all you need for a memorable time!

Very unique , rustic and down to earth accommodation. Best location in Zipolite. Direct on the beach . The owner is very accommodating and very pleasant, so as his staff . There is also a nice cafe on the property, which serves amazing coffee. Will stay there again for sure .

Excellent concept, poor execution

The concept of having cabins in a hill by the beach surrounded by plants and trees makes this place look magical. Location is good and common areas are mostly in good condition.

The owner was probably not prepared for our stay, he didn’t make us feel welcome when we arrived. He let us choose a room between two options, but the room had probably been unattended for a long time (understandable due the pandemic) and it was all dusty and moldy. Bed was full of dust and pillows were moldy. There was a mosquito protection that looked like it had never been cleaned, it was also moldy and dusty and smelled like old clothes, and if you move too much in bed then all the dust falls on you. I don’t recommend this for an allergic person. There was also a hammock that smelled like sweat. Something else I didn’t like was that one morning the person who cleans the common areas was peeking in through my window. With more attention to detail this place could be awesome.

Une petite casita avec un lit confortable à vraiment 2 pas de la plage ! On peut prendre un très bon petit déjeuner et aussi le déjeuner sur place à un tarif abordable. L’ambiance est familiale et agréable dans un cadre paradisiaque. Merci à Violetta et sa famille pour leur accueil.

il pourrait avoir un peu plus de fréquence de nettoyage des sanitaires.

El lugar es rústico y está literalmente sobre la playa, en una de las partes más bonitas. Además está muy cerca del área del adoquín.

El tejido de la cama podría ser algo más alto y sostenerse mejor.
