We stayed 6 nights at Posada Jois. We received very warm welcome from Blanca who made us feel very comfortable like at home. Her warn smile made our day everyday! She fixed things, she cleaned our room very well. When we worked in the terrace, she made hot chocolate for us.
The toilet is small with no ventilation caused the smell from the pipes stayed in the room. The sound proof of the room needs improvement as we were awake by the noise from midnight check-in and early birds of other roommates. And probably the windows need a dark curtain to avoid the light and brightness from outside in order for us to sleep better.

The location was great and the owners were welcoming and friendly
On Booking.com it says that this hotel accepts credit cards. However when I arrived the owners asked me to pay in cash. They did have a chip reader for credit cards but it did not work.
This was a huge inconvenience because I had to go to the bank to take out cash, which resulted in me paying extra because of the withdrawal fees.
They need to update their policy to cash only or have Booking.com accept credit card payments on their behalf

The owner wanted to charge me more. After I showed him what the app charged he still called his daughter and insisted that I pay their fee. Finally accepted to charge what the app indicated. And then had to wait for soap, towels, and toilet paper since room had none.

It has parking and the AC worked well.
We are a couple travelling across Mexico having stayed in about 10 economy hotels on a 40-day trip so far. This was the worst hotel we stayed in so far! There had never been a reception, instead they yell at you from the top floor. You don’t know what you are supposed to do or where on the premises you can have access, but they do have a post of their rules on the door (eg. you have to leave your room key at reception every time you leave the hotel but there is NO ONE at the reception to take care of entry/exit of people). You get to stay a cement bed, a toilet and shower in a tiny bathroom (plus the ROUGHEST TOWELS I’ve ever seen in my life), and a TV. Curtains are white see-through and we had to use eyes covering for a decent night sleep. Only good thing is the AC (for which you pay the price for, obviously), but overall our experience at this hotel was DEPRESSING. It feels like this is their place and you are staying as a kind act. The daughter (?) has such a bad attitude! I don’t know how “hotels” like this can get away with such poor services. I could have paid a little more for a way more decent place in Crucecita. Everything in the city is close by so look around for better options, not this one.

Great friendly staff. Felt at home. Fully functional kitchen with all facilities available to use. Clean rooms and close to the lively and interesting centre of town. Wifi worked well. Ideal choice of hotel to stay.
Needed a power point near the bed.

The price was decent for the size and type of accommodation. It was very clean, the owners were very nice and friendly, but their daughter or the receptionist could have been a bit friendlier. The air-conditioning worked great and, there was some decent news channels on TV and the wi-fi worked fairly good. The room was small for two people but they were nice about letting us store our bikes in a secure closet on the main level. The location was good for walking to grab a drink or go to restaurants near the town square. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but we had our bicycles or you can take a cab.
The receptionist/room attendant could have been a bit friendlier, but she was okay. I think her parents were the owners and they were very friendly and hospitable.

- Staff is very kind and if there is an issue, they work with you to solve it.
- Upstairs common terrace is very very pleasant.
- Located within a 1-minute walk from the zócalo (center) with many restaurants.
- Location is a 20-minute walk from Santa Cruz Beach (or a 35 pesos taxi ride).
- wifi was reliable.
- hot water and pressure for showers were perfect.
- I appreciate having been allowed to use the mixer.
- Good value for the money.
Nothing much really as when an issue did arise with my room, the staff assisted and helped resolve it. My room was a little small as was the bathroom but that was not an issue since we spent our time outside. There are many larger rooms if this matters to you.

The people are nice, clean place. Wifi working but not very good. If you need to work this is not the place. Room is nice, but i received a different room not the one that i booked. Ar least it didn t look the same as in the pictures. It didn t bother me at all, i was ok with that. very nice balcony.
No hot water. The water runs poorley. Not many places to eat close to the hotel. Wifi not so good.

It was nice and pleasant. Great location 5 min taxi ride to the beach where all of the tours were.
I stayed there about 10 days and not once did they clean my room volunteraly. I had to ask on the 8th day and it was a shoddy cleaning job.
Also, the wifi sucked! I had to practically beg them to put the router in my room as I work from home.
